"I strive to give a poetic and harmonious touch to my compositions by imagining the inherent potential of my subject matter. For me, photography is the chosen medium to turn the beauty found in my native language, Spanish, into an image that has no language barrier. Photography enables me to go beyond reality; to see with my eyes and observe with my soul." -

"I approach my work with a haptic and creative manner, with the intent to convey my spiritual and emotional background. I respond to light and the way it can transform simple subjects such as leaves, seeds, seashells and flowers." -

"My name is Luba Kohn Brochier. I was born in Mexico- a country rich in cultural heritage where color and form give life to endless artistic expression- I developed an early love for literature, spirituality, and the geometry found in nature. Life has taken me across four countries and blessed me with two beautiful children and a loving partner. Years later, when asked what I would pursue if money were no object, the answer came from deep within: I would take pictures! The realization led me to enroll in the Digital Media: Photo and Video program at Colorado Mountain College, where I’ve grown immensely through both practice and mentorship. Today, I transform the curiosity of my younger self into art. Light surrounds us all-and I am here to capture it." -

"As an artist, I demonstrate how nature and humanity interact, intersect, and coexist, regardless of the scale of the interaction. I will shed light on how, as humans, no matter how hard we try, we are still part of the natural world. Even when we are surrounded by buildings and everything that humanity has made to disconnect from the natural world. Plants and animals are going to be ever-present in our lives because of the chaos that life inherently exists in. Following that chaos, I wander my surroundings to find the human world decaying and falling victim to entropy, transforming from the order humans try to enforce on the world to the controlled chaos that the natural world thrives on." -

"Hi, I’m Shayne. I’m a photographer who captures the things in the world that might not be noticed right away, like the fly on your table or the peeling label on a door. I feel that a lot of photographers focus on the beauty of how something is in the moment when it’s the most beautiful, and I want to show how the world ages and changes through time." -

"Through my lens I aim to capture the moments that matter and make each client feel assured that their memories are being preserved. A photograph is more than an image; it's a reflection of a person's story." - .holloway.photography

"I became interested in photography at a very early age. I was always intrigued by anyone holding a camera, but my true obsession began when I received my first camera at 77 years old. Some of my fondest childhood memories are doing photoshoots for family and friends. From that point on, I dedicated myself to perfecting my skills so I could pursue photography as a career. I am so lucky to have something that I've been passionate about since childhood, and my only hope is to be able to use that passion to create something you can cherish forever. This week we turn our eye to Emily Holloway and her tremendous portrait work.

"Giving people the gift of lifelong memories is something that is incredibly important to me. Whether I'm photographing families, seniors, kids, or couples, my goal is always to create images that can be cherished forever. My work focuses on using natural light to make you look and feel your best while also getting to know you and showcasing your personality. Collaboration is key and I want us both to love the final product." - .holloway.photography

"Now that I'm graduated, I’m a full-time architectural photographer in Aspen, Colorado. I currently live in the Roaring Fork Valley, and in my free time, I shoot action sports, the passions that saved my life. Some days I’m photographing $50-million homes, and other days I’m dirtbagging in Moab with my friends, exactly how I
always imagined: dirt under my fingernails, dust on my lens, and a big smile on my face." -
