Sneak peeks of the Jack and Caitlyn • Proposal 2026

This is a new one for us -- one that we've been wanting to do for a very long time -- a PROPOSAL session! It is not too often that we get a call during the week to see if we are available for a Saturday in the summer, but we happened to be and for this proposal session, we are very glad that we were. Jack is the son of an education friend and hearing his love story, as well as proposal plan with Caitlyn was not only cute, but also very rewarding and we were very happy to be able to capture a special part of their story together! Jack, as well as many family and friends of both Jack and Caitlyn, did an amazing job with the secrets, set-up, sentential value and after celebration for this future bride and groom! We'd like to congratulate them on their engagement and hope that you enjoy these sneak peeks of their proposal! Congratulations Jack and Caitlyn!

GOLFERS TAKE CENTER STAGE

A home golf meet at Glen Hills Golf Course in Glenwood City brought teams from Chetek-Weyerhaeuser, Clear Lake, Colfax, Durand-Arkansaw, Mondovi and Spring Valley. With this came the celebration of our senior golfers Landon Obermueller, Kaylin Brandt and Evelyn Radintz. The golf season continues tomorrow with sectionals at Big Fish Golf Course in Hayward.

BULLDOGS VS BULLDOGS

The Bulldogs of Chetek-Weyerhaeuser travelled to Boyceville to face another set of Bulldogs in what would turn out to be a slow starting game turned interesting, filled with large amounts of action. Good pitching and great base running make for a 8-2 final score with Boyceville coming away with the victory. These two teams will meet up again tomorrow night as baseball enters regional playoff time. Best of luck to both teams!

Playing catch up with the busy spring season, so be ready for some action as we get caught up. Here we have Clear Lake baseball and softball at Glenwood City for a full night of sports action. These softball teams are now done with their seasons from regionals and baseball continues into regional play this week. Let's see how the seasons end for all teams!

Senior Representatives • Class of 2027

Last night, we had the pleasure to spend the evening with our for their session and with this group it felt so easy, so we thank them for that! If some of these last portraits are any indication, this group ended the session with a lot of childhood fun with swings and slides and much more.

COLLEGIATE TRACK AND FIELD IN APPLETON

We took a break from the local sports scene a few weeks ago to road trip for a weekend to Appleton to see some of our favorite athletes compete from their respective colleges. It was a great meet at the Fox River Showdown and we were very happy to have a weekend with both great people and athletic performances as well. BORDER BATTLE (A WEEK LATER)

As is usual with the spring athletic season, we are always checking the weather to see if we will be wearing shorts, jeans or snow pants and the schedules to see if there have been any changes to athletic events due to the weather. This would be why there was another border battle a week later for the Hilltoppers and Bulldogs, also marking our first softball game of the season. Be sure to check out their images here.
