On June 13th, I had the privilege of photographing this wonderful family surrounded by the beauty of the forest at Old Growth Trail. Between the towering trees, vibrant ferns, and quiet woodland atmosphere, it was the perfect backdrop to capture genuine moments and lasting memories.

My very first individual portrait session!

We spent the afternoon surrounded by towering trees, moss-covered logs, and the beauty of the Pacific Northwest forest, capturing portraits that felt natural, authentic, and connected to the environment. Every session is an opportunity to learn, grow, and refine my craft, and I'm incredibly grateful to have had the chance to work with such a wonderful model.

As I continue building Ivorylens Studio, moments like this remind me why I fell in love with photography in the first place: preserving memories, telling stories, and capturing the beauty that exists in both people and nature.

First Livestock Session Spotlight 🐐

There's just something special about photographing animals in their element. From climbing logs to striking their best poses, these goats made my very first livestock session one to remember!

As someone who loves the farm and ranch lifestyle, being able to capture the personality, character, and beauty of livestock is a part of photography I'm excited to continue growing in. Every animal has its own story, and these photos are proof that sometimes the best models have four legs and a little attitude.

A huge thank you to the owners for trusting me with this session and allowing me to spend time with these beautiful goats. I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to livestock photography!

📸 A Quick Update from IvoryLens Studio

As many of you know, I'll be in photography classes soon to further my education and continue growing my skills behind the camera. Investing in my craft means investing in the experience and quality I provide to each of you.

Because of this, beginning this summer I will be operating on a limited booking schedule and will only be accepting a maximum of 6 sessions per month. This will allow me to dedicate the time needed to both my studies and to each client gallery, ensuring every session receives the attention and care it deserves.

While my availability may be more limited, my passion for capturing your stories remains stronger than ever. Whether it's family memories, livestock portraits, couples, seniors, or those everyday moments that deserve to be remembered, I look forward to continuing to serve our community while expanding my knowledge of the photography industry.
