Wanted to reflect on one of my families who’s been with me since the beginning! Taylor & Ciera have been with me since their engagement (I’ve photographed all of Ciera and her siblings’ weddings ❤️) and I’ve captured their most beautiful milestones since. Baby number 2 comes later this year and I couldn’t be more excited for them! 🥰

Earlier this summer I got to capture my beautiful friend Danielle’s maternity photos. For her first baby boy, we went to the snow! This time around we got play around at their home and then frolic in the oak grove. Isn’t her family the absolute cutest? ❤️

Back near the end of June I got to visit SF to shoot one of my high school BFF’s engagement photos and also celebrate our June birthdays! SF is a huge city, but we spent our time eating delicious foods + exploring some of the prettiest landmarks for their photos. I can’t wait for their wedding later this year! ❤️

Earlier last month, I went to capture a dear high school friend’s engagement photos in Yosemite. To say we squeezed a lifetime into this shoot wouldn’t do it justice. We got about 2-3 of sleep before waking up to get ready and head out to Glacier Point before sunrise. Then we got a three hour nap during the day and came back and hiked out to Taft Point for an early sunset session. We came across a gorgeous super bloom of lupine on our hike & was eating alive by bugs!! But they still made this shoot look perfectly dreamy and effortless. ✨🥲

I wanted to get back into the swing of things by reflecting on such a beautiful wedding I photographed last weekend. Kaitlyn & Thomas’ day was perfect, down to the very last detail. They also had the LARGEST dance floor attendance of my entire wedding lifetime. It was absolutely incredible. 🥰

These two are getting married tomorrow and I’m so excited!❤️

I’ve been on a bit of a summer break with posting, but I’m back and ready to blow your mind with the visuals of .calvillo - not only is she getting married to the love of her life tomorrow, but she has hand crafted every single crochet dress you see in this post with so much love and care. One that’s missing from this post is her wedding dress that she’s worked so hard on this year!

I will blow up your feed with these two love birds more tomorrow, but just wanted to celebrate her insane drive and creativity that pours out of her work: It’s incredible.

I’m off to prepare for their day tomorrow, and can’t wait to share more with y’all soon. 🥰

The last several years have been heavy + hard for a multitude of obvious and personal reasons. This week started off rough especially. I sat myself down yesterday to finally edit some pictures from our honeymoon, so I give myself moments of being able to look back and find joy in the most beautiful week of my life. I hope you find some joy and beauty today too. ❤️

Maritza and Juan’s wedding last Wednesday in Santa Barbara was the absolute perfect day. The sun truly cast its magic on them and made their love sparkle. Does that sound cheesy? Sure, but is it true? Also yes! ❤️The sparkle in their eyes knowing they were officially wed could be seen and felt for miles. To quote my favorite Disney movie (Sleepy Beauty) “Oh, I just love happy endings.” 🧚‍♂️✨🥲

So… Sofie & Jake’s engagement session feels like it jumped straight out a painting. ✨ We spent the evening at her grandparents’ home and were surrounded by the dreamiest sunset. My favorite part about engagement shoots is that the sunlight is always different for each couple, and captures their souls in their own beautiful and unique glow. 🥰 Right before the sunset, we drove to a local bridge + gorgeous gate I saw on my way over to them and got a few last shots. That last minute glow from the sun disappearing over the hills is *chefs kiss*

Currently reminiscing about Annie and Andrew’s beautiful spring wedding back in 2019 at (how are we in 2024?) and all the beautiful moments of their day. The flowers growing in the main lawn…the soft cloudy day…their infectious smiles, and the shot of Annie and her dad laughing together before they went down the aisle. .b.mccarthy can we do it again? 🥰
