FROM “I DO” TO ALMOST DUE...

Eight months ago, I had the honor of photographing the wedding of two amazing people. I’ve known Shanay for years, and if you know her, you know she’s one of those truly special souls who makes the world a little brighter just by being in it.

But what happened just TWO DAYS after their wedding is a memory I’ll never forget.

I put out a model call for a session, and Shanay and her brand-new husband showed up and told me that just hours before they found out they were pregnant!
I was one of the very first people they shared their incredible news with.

That last photo in this post was taken that day. Their very first pregnancy photo. Just hours after discovering they were about to become parents. A tiny secret, one we never posted

And now...

One month to go... Baby girl is almost here.

And tonight’s sky? UNREAL. The sky changed by the second, and every single moment was more and more stunningly breathtaking.

There is something so incredibly special about getting to document not just a moment, but an entire story. To be there front the "before" to the "beginning", and then get to capture the story as it grows.

From wedding bells to baby kicks… from “I do” to “we’re having a baby”… and now, counting down the days until they meet their greatest gift yet.

Shanay, thank you for letting me be a tiny part of capturing your special moments. I cannot wait for you to meet your sweet baby.
