Around these parts, it's Pride allllllll year long!!

The wedding industry has a long way to go in being more inclusive.

If you're still in 2026 refusing service to couples based on who they love, what the hell are you even doing in this industry???

If you're taking money from the LGBTQ+ community but you're voting against their interests, that's not true inclusivity.

If you post one gay couple a year on June 1 but the rest of the year it's crickets, that's not true inclusivity.

Pride is more important than ever with everything going on in the world: so wedding industry, it is truly time to DO BETTER. There are so many resources available to us to learn how to bring more inclusivity into our businesses, and there are simple changes you can make literally right now to make your business more inclusive!

💖 Call out your values explicitly, clearly, and boldly on your websites and socials. Don't make couples have to hunt for it or ask an uncomfortable question.

💖 Go through your website, forms, and contracts and get rid of "bride and groom" because not every wedding has a bride, not every wedding has a groom!

💖 Ask for pronouns in your contact forms, and share yours!

💖 If you don't have LGBTQ+ couples in your portfolio to show, do some work to make it happen. is a great place to start!

"Katie was an absolute dream to work with and gave us an amazing gallery of photos that captured the day and the energy so well. I felt like I was there again looking at them! Katie was so organized, helped keep us on time, and made taking pictures so fun and easy.

Katie went above and beyond for us~ hiking to dream lake at 3am for sunrise engagement pictures, coming out to Crested Butte for our wedding, surprising us with beautiful film pictures, and capturing pictures in the rain and shine! She also had loads of helpful advice to help with the wedding planning too.

Everyone at our wedding was so impressed by her and have not stopped gushing over the pictures. Making wedding planning decisions can be sooo hard but Katie was our easiest and best decision!"

Some mom moments in honor of Mother's Day ❤️

I recognize though that holidays like this can be hard. Sending love to everyone this mother's day: moms, those who are hoping to be moms, those who have lost moms, moms who have lost their kids, those with strained relationships with their moms, and those who have stepped up to be moms.

I'm grateful to capture sweet moments with moms on wedding days like these, whatever they end up looking like!

A Funky-Formal wedding in Denver? Sayyyyy less 😍

Savannah and Phillip brought together so many incredible details to make their wedding day entirely unique to them, like a hand painted ceremony backdrop from Savannah's dad, a vintage truck ALSO painted by her dad, a black and white disco dance floor, BBQ catering, and their pup Oso making a special appearance!!

It was soooo much fun, and their guests also really nailed the theme of the day with some truly iconic fits!

I loved every second of this one and can't wait to share more!!
