I don't swear to be an expert or a professional, but I can get a good shot when the time comes. I am an amateur photographer who enjoys taking photos of many different things. I have been taking pictures with various cameras ever since I can remember. I enjoy documenting the things that I see on a daily basis. "My" first camera was the Olympus Stylus Tough, a camera pointed at the "all situations"
kind of person. Somebody who is always in different situations such as water activities or rock climbing or high adventure kind of situations. It is a camera that is (supposedly) waterproof, drop proof, and freeze proof. I got it to go to the National Scout Jamboree Summer 2010. The main camera I used for early shots on this page was the Sony A100, which was the first model of its kind from Sony. It is an alright camera, but lacks a few features. It is not my camera directly, but a family camera that I mainly use. I do enjoy using it because of its manual and easily customizable controls. I will customize the ISO most of the time, but other than that I keep it on Auto. For my 17th Birthday, I received a Canon T3i, which I had always dreamed of having. It is an amazing camera and a huge upgrade from the Sony A100. It is much faster and more reliable in a way. The T3i captures to SD Cards rather than Compact Flash cards like the A100. It makes travel a whole lot easier too not having to cary card readers around because of the compact flash cards. My Gear
