To my Bluejay Baseball crew,
This season you found ways to push through some low lows and hit highs people didn’t expect you to hit. Teams that came in expecting a win and leaving with a loss were some of my favorite games. Finding ways to have fun through it all is such a big part of baseball and you guys found a way to do so. For that, you should be proud.
To my seniors,
Brett-You are one of the best guys to have as a teammate. I don’t know anyone who is more supportive of the Bluejays as a whole than you are. Seeing you embrace any role that was asked of you with energy and a smile on your face was always put a smile on people’s faces.
Alex-You were so good at finding a way to step up and lay down a productive bunt when the team needed it. You’ve grown a lot this season and it’s been fun to see.
Quinton-That first game at home was really an outstanding outing to watch you on the mound. It was a great way to kick off home games for the season. A steady presence like that on the mound can really bring the team momentum they need to pull off some fun wins.
Cam-I thought watching you pitch last year was fun (shoutout on breaking the long time record), but throwing a perfect game and the gem you threw to kick off the playoffs, complete with two diving catches to double them off, was incredible.
Noah-The one that can truly do it all. There’s not many people that can play so many different positions at this level as successfully as you can. Every team needs a player like Noah Klug that will step into whatever spot is needed for that game. Doing so seamlessly is something a team should never take for granted.
Mason- The game changer. Number one on the field and also in our hearts. This season truly would not have been the same without you. You have a way for picking your teammates up when they needed it the most and also took on whatever tasks were handed to you head on. There was never a dull moment with you there.
Cooper-You’ve been the one out that I’ve watched play the sport you love the longest. The past few years you grew into the team leader that this team has needed for a long time and set the tone for each game and for years to come.
