This sweet face has been through so much. Found in the coal mines of eastern Kentucky with barely any hair to her name. Thanks to the incredible care she got at the rescue , Kentucky Saving Them Together (shoutout to my sister-in-law), she got a second chance and she took it and ran with it.

Now? You never know which Aspen you’re gonna get. The clown. The psycho. The love bug. Some days all three before breakfast and each is just as fun of the other. She and her brother are inseparable, and our house has never been the same (in the best way).

We are so grateful she found her way to us. 🐶💛

My handsome boy the slobbering goofy snuggle bug that weighs as much as horse. He is the messiest thing I have ever had but wouldn't trade him for anything. The warden of the food bowls, the treat jar, toys and delegates when his sister can get lovings. We love our boy. HAPPY NATIONAL DOG DAY!

Today we lost a true legend. 💔

Dolly Parton wasn’t just a country music icon she was a beautiful soul. No scandals. No flaunting her wealth. No looking down on anyone who had less than she did. She just gave, and gave, and gave to quietly changing lives through her generosity.

Growing up, my generation got to watch her become this magnificent woman who genuinely cared about people. The big hair, the nails, the makeup, the rhinestones that was just the shine on the outside. What made her Dolly was what was underneath it.

If the world had more Dollys in it, it would be a kinder place. Rest in peace, sweet Dolly. You inspired so many of us, and you always will. 🕊️
