Ready to Boondock in Quartzsite during the Big Tent Show. Come join us, along with Fair Winds RV for a chill camping circle! THIS IS NOT A RALLY! This is a chance for new & experienced boondockers to camp together with new & old friends in the desert off-grid. We will have 1 scheduled event per day to leave you plenty of time for exploring the area and relaxing and gathering for whatever events you'd like to partake in while in Q. We will have take a couple of hikes, do a seminar or 2, have some camp circles around a fire and have some potlucks. Nothing too crazy but a chance to see what boondocking is all about. If you plan to attend, PLEASE fill out the registration form so we know how much space to "save" in the desert for everyone who wants to camp circled up. Also remember, if you don't want to boondock, there are a few RV parks in town and you can come visit and partake in whatever events you'd like while learning what it takes to boondock so you can be ready for your own boondocking adventures. We can't wait to see y'all in a few months!

On this day in 2020, we purchased our 1st camper so Rob could start travel nursing during the covid mayhem. I can't believe 6 full years ago we began this journey. It took til october 2020 to move in as I remodeled the camper while Rob was still working in critical care in North Carolina.

We never started a youtube channel til 2022 and never started making videos until 2023. So we took before/after pictures of the camper but no real footage. Thinking about doing a slideshow/voice over of how we got started since we never did that.

My 1 real question is HOW THE HECK has it already been 6 full years entering year 7?! Time flies when you're having fun!

NO DOUBT we made it through the eye of a storm yesterday. Hail, rain & high winds in 1 direction to wind stopping, rain slowing, hail slowing up to the wind blowing the opposite direction after the eye passed. What a wild ride!

I have friends from many other countries because of the military & travels in general. So many wonder why Americans don't travel that much. Or why most Americans do not own a passport. Well, we can travel our whole lives and still never see everything in USA. I'm happy I've been to so many different countries as it makes me appreciate being American. We are truly blessed ♥️🇺🇸

We bought our 1st camper for full time rv living in August of 2020. Crazy to think we've lived this blessed life for 6 full years & entering year 7 😲 man how time flies when your having fun living your blessed life!

Full time rv nomad living vs sticks & bricks:

You spend more quality time with friends & family in a couple of weeks or couple of months than you ever did living in the same town.

Why? Because just living "normal" life keeps you busy and you do not make time to see & visit like you should because life gets in the way.

But when you're only around once a year, friends & family will break from their routine to make time to catch up.

We spend more quality time with loved ones living this lifestyle than we or they ever did when everyone is in the same area yet busy living life.

Some people ask if we ever get tired or moving around. Well if we do, we stay somewhere a few months vs a few days and we actually get to know the area.
