There’s just something about film that feels different.
The grain, the colors, the little imperfections… it brings this nostalgic feeling to your wedding day that digital just can’t quite recreate.

These are a few film scans from Maryanna & Bahaa’s wedding day, and I’m honestly obsessed with how they feel. They’re imperfect in the most beautiful way and somehow make the memories feel like little pieces of the past.

Maryanna + Bahaa

Over the last year, Maryanna has become so much more than a bride whose wedding I was looking forward to photographing. Somewhere along the way, she became a dear friend, which made being there to capture this day feel even more meaningful.

And what a day it was.

From top to bottom, every single detail was absolutely incredible. Castle Farms was the perfect backdrop, everything came together beautifully, and Maryanna was truly one of the most stunning brides. There were so many moments throughout the day where I found myself thinking, this is just perfect.

Maryanna and Bahaa, it was such an honor to be trusted with these memories and to witness the beginning of this chapter with you. My prayer for your marriage is that God blesses every part of it. That He is always at the center of your home, your decisions, your celebrations, and even the hard seasons. May you always choose one another, pray for one another, and never forget the love that surrounded you on this day.

I couldn’t imagine a more beautiful day for two incredibly special people. What an absolute honor it was to capture it all.

Yesterday, Olivia thought she was simply spending her first day on Mackinac Island with Cody. She had absolutely no idea that she was about to say yes.

Under the brightest sunshine, with perfect weather and Mackinac Island looking more beautiful than ever, Cody led Olivia into the Secret Garden and asked her to marry him. I had the absolute honor of being there to capture every second of the moment she realized what was happening.

Their very first trip to Mackinac Island became a day they will never forget, and I cannot think of a more beautiful way to begin their forever.

Olivia and Cody, your joy was contagious. Congratulations to you both. Here’s to a lifetime of adventures, beautiful places, and the sweetest memories together.

There are moments that remind me just how beautifully God writes our stories, and today was one of them.

Today, in the breathtaking Secret Garden on Mackinac Island, Caiden asked Kelly to spend forever with him.

Kelly had planned this trip months ago, completely unaware that God had been orchestrating something even more beautiful behind the scenes. She thought they were simply enjoying a day exploring the island.

I happened to “convince” them to let me take a few photos together…

Little did she know, I wasn’t just taking portraits. I was capturing the moment her forever began.

Watching the joy, the tears, the laughter, and the way these two look at each other was such a beautiful reminder that love rooted in Christ is something truly special. My prayer is that they continue to seek Him first in every season, allowing Him to be the foundation of their marriage for decades to come.

Caiden and Kelly, your kindness, your love for one another, and the joy you carry is contagious. I cannot wait to watch the life God has in store for you both.

And yes… before anyone asks…
