I know society has been telling you that since you turned 30. that your window is closing. that you should be grateful for what you had and realistic about what’s left.
I’m calling absolute bu****it on that 💥
because the women I photograph… the ones who walk out of their sessions completely undone by what they see… they are almost never 22. they are women who have lived enough to know who they are. who have survived enough to stop apologizing for it. who have finally, quietly, run out of patience for shrinking.

and that energy is the most magnetic thing I have ever put in front of a lens.

I’ve been thinking a lot this week about why women wait 🖤

Why they follow along for months, sometimes years, before they finally reach out. Why they save posts and send them to their friends and say “I want to do this someday” and then don’t.

And I think the real reason (the one underneath all the practical ones) is that it feels like a big claim. Like booking a session is saying: I believe I’m worth this!!!

And that’s a vulnerable thing to say out loud when you’ve spent a long time believing the opposite.

But here’s what I want you to know: you don’t have to believe it fully yet. You just have to be a little curious. A little willing. That’s enough to start 💜

I’ve watched women walk in with zero confidence and walk out unable to stop looking at themselves… not out of vanity, but out of this quiet, stunned recognition. Like: oh. There I am 🔥

That moment is waiting for you. It has been this whole time.

I’m going to be honest with you today, because I think that’s more valuable than a pretty caption 🖤

Running a small business is not a highlight reel. There are weeks where the bookings are slow and the posts feel like they’re disappearing into a void and the little voice in your head starts asking if any of it is working.

This is one of those weeks for me.

And I’m sharing that not for sympathy, but because I know I’m not the only one. Whether you’re running a business, raising kids, managing a career, or just trying to keep your own head above water… you know what it feels like to keep showing up when the momentum stalls.

Here’s what I keep coming back to on those days: 💜

The work still matters even when it’s quiet. The women I’ve photographed didn’t stop carrying those images with them because my booking calendar slowed down. The impact doesn’t expire.

So I’m here. Still building. Still believing in this. Still showing up for the women who walk through that door and for this community that keeps me going more than you know.
