Jamie Bradley Photography I specialize in Newborn, Toddler, and Small children, FAQ's

~During the session... I know babies eat every three hours.. I am here for you.. ASAP. NO.

But if you want to ensure you baby will sleep though out the session, some babies will eat every hour or so. This is normal, with them being posed and moved, they tend to want to take a lot of food. This is ok, and will not hurt your little one. SO, if you are very strict about feedings, Please let me know in advance their eating times so we can schedule around that. Cause If I am unable to get th

em down, we will have to reschedule for another day.

~How old should my newborn be to get photos done? Your brand new rock star should be between 5-14 days old. This is the best time to photograph them, since this time they are the most sleepiest.

~What should I bring to my Shoot? Anything you want to incorporate into your photos. How long does a newborn session last? I reserve a 4 hour time slot for Newborns. This is to ensure that we get those photos you dream of. Some babies like to be awake for the first two hours, and knock out for an hour. Then we speed shoot. :)

~What if I am breastfeeding? I FREAKING LOVE YOU... You are more then welcome to use our privet room, or you can just whip out those feeders and feed away.. I may gawk at you, cause I have a soft spot for moms who breast feed.

~When do I need to contact you for my newborn photos? as soon as you find out your pregnant.. OR at least before your birth. This ensures you have a date set in the book for photos. I understand things happen, babies come early.. We will work with you.

~Will you come to the hospital after birth to take some hospital photos? I thought you would never ask

Good afternoon everyone. I know we haven’t been on here in a while. Life has take a different turn for my family. Some people know, but most don’t.
But here is exactly what’s going on, this is where we are at...

Last month, my father in law had a cancerous tumor discovered in one of his eyes. (As of now he has lost his sight in that eye).
After several scans/test after test, it was then discovered that the tumor had metastasized to the eye from another location (at that time the location was unknown).

After about a week and several tests later we had learned that the cancer had spread to several areas of his body. An official biopsy was done on Friday the 21st to gain further information on the cancer but so far the doctors are stating the he has Stage 4 Lung Cancer. He has already started radiation on his eye this past week and then after that they will focus on the spot that is on his brain and a large lesion on his hip, along with the other areas the cancer has spread to.

So all this being said... Dad is a strong man! He knows this and we know this! He is determined to beat this and can’t wait to get back out on the golf course again.

We ask that you reach into your hearts and pray for our family.

There is a benefit being held in his honor this Saturday if you’d like to Join.

Thank you to everyone for all the support that has already been shown. I’m amazed everyday at the amount of love that has been shown to our family.

an empty bucket...

Usually these buckets feature the tiniest, most precious little humans, but today, it is empty.

April 21-April 27th is National Infertility Awareness Week, and many newborn photographers are raising awareness by sharing images of their empty buckets. The empty bucket represents the emptiness that women can feel when dealing with infertility or loss. In addition, PAIL is the acronym used for Pregnancy After Infertility or Loss.

Alright alright, alright! 😘 I have had several people ask me about getting back into the game of doing photos again. I have missed you all so much! I’m not saying I’m getting back into it full time, but I do want to extend some love. With that being said, I will be opening up a few days at the end of this month, possibly beginning of next month for some fall photos.

Dates, times, and all locations will be given out later. If you would like a spot or would be interested, comment below. And I’ll keep you all posted!

With all my love! 😘
Jamie.

I have been putting this off for some time now. But we have an announcement we need to make. Bare with me.

Back in November of 2016, we had a lot go on in such a short amount of time. Some things that shook our family to the core.

We had the death of my brother, and two days later after we buried him, the death of a wonderful women, our Oma! After that we had two more deaths of people who played a part in both our children's life.

Then, unfortunately a month later followed the death of my oldest sons paternal great grandmother.

After all those incidents my heart slipped away from photography. I've fought though the photos and tried to force myself back into this. My heart hasn't been on it like I really want it to be.

It would be very selfish of me to continue and give photos when in reality, I wouldn't be giving you my 100%.

We will be taking some time away until further notice. If you would like to know who I would use, I highly suggest there people who are in the same area of work I am in.

Kaylee burgess photography, Tia Clark Photography, And ROK photography. You won't go wrong with anyone of these ladies and gents. Their kindness and compassion.

We hope to see you in the coming (very soon) new year.

With all my love!
Jamie.
