The vibes were so incredibly high and exactly what everyone needed to shake off the winter. Every single person included in their wedding was genuinely so kind, cherished these two so much, and wanted nothing more than for them to flourish and be celebrated. The love!!! It was infectious.

Things you should probably consider before booking a photographer.

All of which I review on consultation calls with everyone. Most of you - myself included - love a good candid. But do you want every one of your family formals to be candid?

I would love to be able to be a fly in the wall and just create at a wedding - but the most common question I get asked on a wedding day is “what do I do with my hands?”

Wedding days are complex with lots of moving parts, different opportunities to create various styles of art, and even more ways to transform what is happening into your tactile memories. Use these little buzzwords to help you break down what is most important to you.

Quickest way to get me to agree to nearly anything?

Tell me it’s Greek.
Tell me there is spanakopita.
Tell me there is traditional energy filled dance floors.

This wedding day was family focused, friend cherished, and filled with an overwhelming amount of human connection. The perfect day. Also I died at these cute little trees in terracotta with citrus elements in the reception. Ugh. Take me back to Greece.

What matters for your wedding morning space?

Top (2) things because I can’t pick which is more important:
1. Lighting - if you don’t want flash style photography, is there ample natural light available?
2. Space - can you fan out your entire dress with room to spare?

Second to these are:
- Coloring - does it feel cohesive with the rest of your wedding?
- Space (yes, again) - is there enough room for your beauty team to do their job effectively? Tables and chairs as well.
- Storage - is there room for your wedding party to put things out of the way? Because 1,000% they will come with things.
- Food - is there enough space for food and drinks?

Some venues have their own spaces, some request extra time be purchased, and some spaces are better found elsewhere.
