It’s pretty cool that God has blessed His creation (us) to adapt, do all that is required of us - with His help of course, and has also instilled within each of us the desire to work and be creative because we are made in The Creator of everything’s image! It’s no wonder why we are always on the move and trying to do it all
Just as important though is rest! 😌
Taking a break from photography during this season of transitioning to my new mom role was not easy! It came with lots of nos I wanted to be yeses but I can honestly say it was the best decision for me! I’m glad I trusted God when it went against my nature to politely decline requests that make me so excited as a photographer… but I am now able to rest when needed, prep for baby, and tend to my other responsibilities while not being consumed by the many hours of happy work photography brings. I love it truly but it’s time to rest 📸
It does help knowing photography is waiting for me when it’s time to jump back in again!
God through His Word talks about how there’s a time for everything in Ecclesiastes 3. In this same chapter, He also reminds believers to stay heaven-focused, making all decisions with eternity and God in mind. Easier said than done but a great reminder as my life is quickly changing! Maybe it’s a good reminder for you too 😉
Anyways, all that to say whether it’s a season of work or rest for you, I pray God blesses it! 🥰
