A few tips that come with love:
1. If I’m trying to get your kids to look at the camera… don’t point or look at them. Let me do the work and you smile and look pretty. If you want to help, you can bounce them or lightly tickle them. But if you point or look away, I still won’t get the shot.
2. Be light hearted and kind. If your kids sense your stress or are getting yelled at, they’re less likely to smile, have a good attitude or enjoy the session.
3. Download your pictures. Get the high resolution ones (screenshots suck) and save them in a few spots so you don’t lose them. And do it in a timely manner please. It’s a lot easier for you to store your pictures than for me to store EVERYONE’S.
4. If you want a certain pose or shot or inspo picture, TELL ME. These images and memories are for you!
5. You don’t need to lose the weight before taking the pictures. Every season is important to remember. If not for you, for your kids.
