Hi! If you are new to my page, welcome! So happy you are here. I'm Sue, a macro-flower photographer, and also love shooting landscape, nature, and animal images. I'm usually always out of doors, looking for the more unique angle in photography, and life, and after a few years of primarily shooting in the desert, am excited to be traveling again this summer and fall - watch this space for some behind the scenes of very cool places I'll be visiting!

Another stunner I was lucky enough to capture. This is at Bridal Veil Falls, at the Columbia River Gorge. I shot this at the bottom of the falls, a 120' drop as the water makes a sharp turn through a narrow passageway. Misty yet clear, calm yet turbulent. An image that captures the opposition of so many things, and somehow,, everything flows together.

Taking a quick break from her flight, this little one was kind enough to land long enough for me to capture this image. I was at Butterfly Wonderland here in AZ and if you haven't ever experienced butterflies landing on your skin, you haven't yet lived! It's magical! And the detail on her wings, magnificent!

Flowers always hold such an important place in my photography efforts, but a close second is simply the rest of nature, and capturing her beauty. Taken up at the Columbia River Gorge area in Oregon, I fell in love with the movement of the water here, with the sublime green colors and textures.
