Since 1993, Lamar Studios Photography has been creating thoughtful, natural, beautiful portraits of the most important aspects of life for individuals and families throughout the East Valley, including Gilbert, Mesa, Queen Creek, Chandler, Tempe, Ahwatukee, and Phoenix. Through every stage of life we have been here, watching our clients grow and change. Helping our clients capture some of those amazing moments on film has been incredibly rewarding as photographers and incredibly humbling as a professional photography studio. We’ve also grown and changed over the years as we continue to keep our photography creative and fresh while maintaining our commitment to quality, service, and to offering a great photography experience. A large majority of our business comes by word of mouth. Our photographers at Lamar Studios Photography are committed to establishing and maintaining relationships with our clients that last for years to come. Our studio is located within the Agritopia Community in Gilbert, Arizona. Agritopia is a mixed use community that includes commercial and residential properties. We have tree-lined streets, front porches, white picket fences, and lush grassy lawns. Because of our unique location, we have endless outdoor areas to photograph in, as well as a beautiful indoor studio environment capable of accommodating everything from family photography to newborn portraits. Our studio photographers have been professional portrait photographers for families, high school seniors, and newborn babies all across the East Valley including Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Phoenix, Tempe, Ahwatukee, and Queen Creek. A husband and wife team, Jon and Bethany are the heart and soul of Lamar Studios Photography. Jon’s degree in fine art photography from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, along with his commercial photography background gives him a unique artistic approach to his portrait work, while Bethany’s design skill, creative eye, and feminine sensibilities add to the “touchy feely” side of Lamar Studios Photography. As a family portrait photographer, Jon likes to photograph families in a natural, relaxed way. Jon also enjoys exercising his talents as a professional photographer when it comes to senior portraits, portraits of children, baby portraits, maternity portraits, and couples portraits. The studio also has a wonderful, hard working support staff, dedicated to producing those amazing photographs and professional portraits in a timely and proficient manner. Together, they make a great team, and the best part is, they have fun!
