On this day 9 years ago, I created a page & named it Ashley Bagamary Photography. I was taking photography courses at the community college & thought I’d give this whole thing a shot. And mannnn, it has surpassed everything I ever thought it would be. It became more than a “side hustle.” It took me all over the US & even across an ocean! It opened doors to connections & friendships that I treasure. To think I started out charging $30 just for people to give me a chance. It just goes to show that you really never know where something might lead you. Stay kind, hardworking & keep the faith. You just may surprise yourself. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey so far & here’s to beginning year 10! 🤟🏼

Hello my friends and Happy New Year! I have a bit of an announcement to make and thank you in advance to anyone who cares to read. :)

In an effort to slow down and focus on family, I will not be accepting any more weddings for the time being. I will continue to focus on my portrait work (families, couples, maternity, seniors, grads, etc). I will also only be taking 2 sessions each week, on Sundays only. That being said, many months are already booked! I am now working full time during the week Mon-Fri and in the evenings I am chauffeuring my children to sporting events. Saturdays will remain closed off for family & rest.

I hope that you will understand and please know that I am excited for the weddings and shoots that will happen this year and truly honored to document the joy in your lives, as you all have been a huge joy in MY life.

Hello & Happy Shopping Day! First off, please know that I am so thankful for you! Also, you may notice this is not the Black Friday Sale that you have come to know & love in the past & that is mainly due to inflation & limited scheduling in 2025. But it’s still a steal! Please comment on the post if you’d like to purchase & I will honor the first *5* only. I will go by the time stamp on the comments to decipher who claimed first. There is no expiration date & regular travel fees may apply if you’d like to go further out for your shoot. *Cannot be applied to shoots already on the calendar & must be paid in full this weekend. At the risk of being cringe and/or cliche, photography has been life changing for me. A creative outlet, a means to and end, an open door to opportunity, adventure and friendship. It's hard to fathom what my life would be like had I not picked up that camera, had I not signed up for those photography courses, had I not made a little business page on Facebook and gone for it about a decade ago. So grateful for the courage, the journey, every piece of it.

Before Fall wedding season begins, I wanted to announce a new & improved sneak peek strategy for weddings that I think will help further streamline my edit & turnaround process. *Portrait clients, sneak peeks are not guaranteed but you will have your FULL gallery within 2 weeks!

- The week after your wedding, you will receive a private online gallery consisting of your photos. You can expect about 35-50 images from the couples portraits part of your day. Perfect for announcing your union on social media!

- You will receive your final gallery within the promised turnaround time of eight weeks & that will replace your sneak peek gallery.

Hi everyone! I can't believe I am saying this but 2024 is BOOKED minus 2 openings the weekend before Christmas. Now is a perfect time to book for Spring 2025! *Please remember that you are not booked until the retainer is paid.

Some things coming up; I plan to hold a Black Friday Sale, although it will not be the one you all know & love (thank you inflation), but it will still be great!

I no longer host mini marathons (Fall minis, Christmas Minis, etc) because bad weather never fails & moving 10+ families with an already booked out calendar will make one CRAZY. So nothing coming on that front. Full portrait sessions (or extended) have been the only option on the menu for a couple years now.

I also sense some big changes happening for 2025 but I will keep you posted on all of that as it gets closer!

It was my honor & pleasure to document this wedding. It is always special when you get to work with friends! And this day could not have been more joyous or beautiful. My favorite part was when Cala's father/daughter dance turned into the whole family dancing together in a big embrace. Tears were flowing! Congrats to Mr. & Mrs. McCawley! Wishing you a lifetime of love & happiness!
