Zach and Merry came to Gettysburg to exchange marriage vows privately this past weekend and it was such a privilege for me to witness and photograph. 🥹🫶🏼 It was definitely a refreshing experience after a full season shooting “big weddings.” I think I needed the reminder that it’s about committing to spend the rest of your lives together and whether you do that in front of 2 people or 200, what matters is that you’re married at the end of the day. Also, can we mention the beautiful bouquet that Merry crocheted herself?! I’m here for it. 😍
(Also, I wouldn’t be mad to photograph more private vow exchanges next year sooo if anyone’s thinking about it, I’m your girl. 🥹🤍)

If I have done pictures for you in the past 5 years, please make sure all of your images have been downloaded and backed up from your online gallery! I will be switching gallery providers in the next few days and all galleries from 2020-present will no longer be available. (Not to worry, I still have all the images and can re-upload them if necessary, but please just go download everything so I don’t have to spend DAYS doing that. 😅😂)

The first half of 2025 (well, more like the month of May) threw me for a loop and I just realized it’s been a bit since I’ve posted. But I’m still here and staying busy. Since April, I have photographed 1 wedding of my own as lead photographer and associate shot/second shot 13 weddings for a total of 14 weddings so far this year. ✨ Senior season. ✨ In the past two weeks, I have had 26 (twenty-six!!!) amazing Gettysburg College seniors in front of my camera, beating my 2023 record of 15 seniors. Still not sure how that happened but I am SO honored to have been able to capture some memories on campus and around Gettysburg for these wonderful people. 🥹 Best wishes in your future endeavors, Class of 2025! Can’t log off without making a post for the beautiful couple also. When I first met Lydia in the PIMCU (pediatric intermediate care unit) she worked at when my kiddos were at the height of being in and out of the hospital (it’s a long story, they’re doing good now), I had no idea that just a few years later I would be photographing her wedding day. I consider every wedding an honor to be there, but yesterday it was an HONOR for me to be there to capture their perfect wedding day. 🥹🙌🏼🥰

Warning: obligatory caption about the nice weather ahead! 🚨😂 I don’t know about you but I highly appreciate the reprieve from winter temps this week and it has me anticipating spring in a few weeks.
