A complete shift in atmosphere. 🌿🤍

After the dark lace and smoky water concepts, we pivoted into something soft, organic, and grounded. Using the layered rock face and natural foreground foliage created an entirely different mood for this part of the set.

Huge credit to Devoree Allison McCulley for flipping the energy on a dime—effortlessly transitioning from dark fairy-tale royalty to pure bohemian elegance.

For the second half of this session, we dropped the props and let the rim light and reflection do the heavy lifting. The dark stone backdrop and glassy water gave us the perfect stage for a dark royalty aesthetic.

We wanted to push the seasonal aesthetic in a moodier, more atmospheric direction—bringing in deep tones, shoreline reflections, and rolling blue smoke. Huge shoutout to Devoree Allison McCulley for braving the water and bringing this entire concept to life effortlessly.

Sunlight & Shoreline: Editorial Portraits at Laurel River Lake 🌊☀️

For this session with Michelle Brengartner, we took advantage of the natural beauty out at Laurel River Lake—moving from the rugged sandstone outcrops down directly into the lake shallows. Combining structured styling with an oversized black shirt, bikinis, and relaxed, barefoot movement against the clear open water made every frame feel both cinematic and effortless.
