It is with a heavy heart that I will be closing my books to new clients in 2026.

While I’ve loved capturing all of the things, the season of life I’m in is just too much - I am
a mom and a wife. I work a full time corporate job. My son has a primary immunodeficiency and we have an infant. I am truly beyond drowning.

It seems that no matter what I do, someone is always sick and I’m always pulled into 8000 different directions. Just this week, we’ve had the stomach bug and now my almost 4-month-old daughter has a 101.5° fever + I’m sick as well.

This year, I’ve had the assistance of some amazing associate shooters for weddings while I was on maternity leave - thank you all for that help and thank you to my clients for understanding. There’s also been several times I’ve had to reschedule recently, primarily due to severe and chronic illnesses that my kids have struggled with. My son has absolutely no immune system - he has surgery scheduled for the end of Dec and will be starting immunoglobulin replacement therapy in Cincinnati.

Beyond the business, I am a human. Mom and wife are the titles I know I was called to have - they’re the most important things to me, and in this season I really don’t have any more to give.

To those who have supported me within the last 7 years, I am forever grateful. For the grace I’ve been extended, it means the world. The memories I’ve been able to capture are beautiful and I hope you all will always cherish them.

To anyone with sessions scheduled for the remainder of the year, things already on the books for 2026 and any valid gift cards - these will be honored completely. Please message me with any questions.

I have several things in the queue for editing - these are being worked on diligently and will be delivered per the contractual timeline. Several things have been sent out within the last couple of weeks, so please be sure to check your emails (and spam/junk folders) if you know your album is due.

Again, thank you all for your support and love throughout the years. It’s just time to focus on my family, and work on getting my kids healthy + healing while being a young mama.

For those who don’t know —

I have two kiddos; a 2 year old and an almost 3 month old.

These babies and their daddy are my WHY.

While I love doing photography and capturing all that is important to you, my kids and family have to come first.

My son is immunocompromised, which often times results in him being extremely and chronically ill. We take him to CCHMC for all care - emergent and maintenance.

Unfortunately when he is sick, it’s a whole ordeal… And he shares the germs with our newborn (and usually me) too. It involves lots of doctor visits, ED visits, and sleepless nights.

One of the reasons I am taking on less, is the season of life I am in. I am a mom first, that’s one of my biggest principles - God and family above
all.

Sometimes I have to reschedule sessions due to my kiddos, and while I thoroughly apologize for it, their health and wellbeing is the most important to me. I pray for grace and understanding from my clients.

I am also extremely understanding when things happen for you all, too. Life is truly crazy for everyone right now and things happen.

Their daddy is now on nightshift, so I am their sole caretaker. It’s an extremely beautiful and chaotic season for us right now! I also work a full-time corporate job - things are wild for us 🤪

My biggest focus as a small business owner is to provide quality photos for a fair price. I am a family, maternity, newborn and senior lifestyle photographer. Most of my clients are parents, often times with young kids, who understand that life and sickness happens.

I have been very vocal about my family - and more specifically the issues my son so courageously faces. It’s not easy being a mom to a medically fragile child.

While I am thankful for all of my clients, I may not be “the” photographer for everyone, and that’s OKAY!

Behind the lens and behind the brand, I am human - a mom, a wife and a friend.

To those who have read this far, and to those who continue to support me, THANK YOU! I am truly so appreciative of everything you all do for me and my family. This is more than just a business to me!

After almost 3 weeks of bed rest, we are still holding steady and are expecting baby girl this weekend/early next week!

I just wanted to update all of my clients —

This week I spent 2 days in L&D and was ultimately diagnosed with preeclampsia at 33 weeks. Due to this, I am on bedrest and will not be capturing anything until after baby girl is born and I am healed.

I did have a lighter schedule because we knew this would likely happen, but if you are scheduled within the next couple of weeks I will be reaching out to you!

As far as edits go - this week/weekend I will be working on busting things out to everyone and getting albums out as quick as I can and within the proper timeframes. Please be on the lookout for emails and/or messages! You can also refer to your contract for TATs.

- PRAY! Pray for baby girl and I. That my blood pressure and my labs stay stable enough that we can get just a few more weeks of her cooking.
