As a community, I’d like us to come together and pray with me for Kendra and Travis as they laid their sweet baby girl Oaklynn Kay to rest this morning. Grieving a child is something no parent should ever have to go through and in times like these we need to come together for love and support. 
Sometimes we might think we have a plan, but God‘s plan is always greater.
The village that I saw behind Oaklynn and her sweet parents  this morning, gave me comfort in knowing that Kendra will make it through this part of her life. It may have not only left her empty, but is giving her reason to live again.
This is not goodbye, this is see you on the other side sweet girl.
Kendra, your beautiful baby girl loves you so much. Unfortunately this ache will be a permanent scar in your heart forever 💔but you know just as well as I do that she is and will be with you every minute and every second of the day.
I couldn’t have been more honored when you asked me to be there this morning and the mama that I know in you would’ve been there for me and I am here for you always.

“Lord, I come to you in time of need, as I try to comprehend the loss of this beloved child, fill her mother and father with strength and comfort. Help them find courage and resilience as they face this unimaginable pain. Give them all the patients needed to move forward with life here on earth. Lord, hold them in this time of grief, help them to never forget the joy and the memories Oaklynn left with them while she was here. Amen.”

Although time was cut way too short little butterfly your footprints have been dug deep into your mommy and daddy‘s hearts forever.
