Friday night lights, senior year, and one last season wearing that jersey. 🏈❤️

There’s something so special about senior football photos. The field, the bleachers, the jersey you’ve worn with pride, and all the memories that come with them.

I love getting to capture this chapter before these seniors head off to their next big adventure. And YES, we’re absolutely making sure you get those cool, confident, main-character shots too. 😂📸

Forget romantic walks on the beach… we’re running for our lives through a cemetery. 🖤🔪

Because who said couples sessions have to be all sunshine, sunsets, and sweet little kisses???

Sometimes romance looks a little more like a horror movie, and I’m SO here for it.

You don’t have to see each other to have a moment together before the ceremony.

A first touch gives you a few quiet minutes to hold hands, hear each other’s voice, calm the nerves, and soak in the fact that you’re about to get MARRIED.

And then you still get that once-in-a-lifetime moment of seeing each other for the first time down the aisle.

I love a first look, but THIS is such a sweet alternative for couples who want to keep that tradition.

Your wedding doesn’t have to follow anyone else’s rules. Do what feels like you :)

We were at Carmon’s in Champaign, Illinois, and I was second shooting for Holly + the VSI team :)

That morning, I was walking around the venue, already envisioning where I wanted to photograph the couple, when I saw this little doorway perfectly framed by the flowers.

Immediately: I NEED a couple in there.

And obviously, we made it happen.

This wedding was also a 3-hour drive EACH way, and let’s just say the drive home absolutely took me out lol. But it was so worth it.

These two were ridiculously sweet and just SO excited to finally be married. You could feel it all day, and I had the best time getting to document a little piece of it.

Sometimes my favorite portraits start with me wandering around a venue thinking, “waitttt… put them THERE.”

And then I gotta get the portrait :)
