Fall is always such a wonderfully busy season, and I’ve been spending my days photographing beautiful families and my evenings putting the finishing touches on their galleries.

To all of my amazing clients patiently waiting for their photos, THANK YOU! I know how excited you are to see your images, and I appreciate your patience more than you know. Every gallery gets my love and attention, and I promise they’re worth the wait!

✨ A little exciting news from behind the camera! ✨

I’m officially a Sandra Coan Certified Photographer! 🎉

One of the things I love most about photography is that there’s always something new to learn. New techniques to explore, new ways to see light, and new opportunities to grow creatively.

I’ve spent time studying and refining my approach to lighting, and I’m so excited to have earned this certification!

Beautiful portraits are about so much more than a great camera. They’re about understanding light, creating connection, and making people feel comfortable and confident in front of the lens.

I’m always looking for ways to make the experience (and the images!) even better for the wonderful people who trust me with their memories.

Here’s to never stopping learning, pushing myself creatively, and making beautiful things along the way. ❤️

It was totally a last-minute thing, but last night's sunflower sessions were everything I had hoped for! We had so much fun! The light was perfect, and oh my gosh, look at those sunflowers!

One of my favorite ways to bring senior portraits to life is through custom graduation announcements. They’re personal, beautiful, and give friends and family a glimpse of who your senior is right now.

Whether it’s a modern editorial look, a classic portrait, an athlete showing off years of hard work, or a horse-loving senior celebrating a lifelong passion, every announcement is designed to reflect their story.

Because graduation isn’t just about earning a diploma. It’s about celebrating the person they’ve become.

Class of 2027 families, this is your reminder: senior photos aren’t only for yearbooks. They’re for announcements, wall art, albums, and all the moments you’ll want to remember long after graduation day.

Outfit coordination for an extended family session doesn't have to be complicated.

You don't need everyone in matching clothes. You don't need a color-coded spreadsheet. You don't even need everyone to fully commit to a palette - a little cohesion goes a long way.

But there are limits.

Crocs are the limit.

I say this with love and zero judgment about Crocs as a life choice. But if you're coordinating 14 people for a once-in-several-years family photo, 'wear whatever's comfortable' is not the full guidance anyone needed.

Share some ideas ahead of time. Point everyone toward a general direction. Let people make it their own within that.

And maybe just casually mention the shoe situation.
