Fireflies in the Smokies.

For a few weeks in late spring these little mysterious little wonders create quite a stir… but what a show!!!

We has spent the week chasing them all over the Smokes in Tennessee and North Carolina.

Hello young fellow!!

Yes, I know….just a young male elk. Not one of the huge bulls with rocking chairs on its head as you are accustomed to seeing from Oconaluftee or Cataloochee…..

Although this guy is impressive for his age, it’s where he is located that makes the photo unusual.

We at Up N' Adam Adventures ran across this young fellow (and a buddy of his) along the road about a mile from the parking area of Kuwohi Dome this past week. This is several miles in thousands of feet above his typical range.😳🤯
