What an afternoon! Had a wonderful time today at the opening reception at UCNJ’s community arts exhibit.

Connected with delightful faculty as well as other creatives.

I feel energized and inspired once again to keep climbing higher.

It’s amazing what the right opportunities and supportive, positive environment and connections can do for a person.

I am so grateful for the opportunity I was given and really need to thank Lidia Costa, Graphic Arts Academic Specialist who oversaw the development of this exhibit as well as the selections to be presented. What a fantastic woman to connect with!

While I could certainly write a narrative about all of the “feels” I had, I have to say the absolute highlight was getting a chance to speak with some of the young students today , specifically the couple I grabbed this candid of. Encouraging someone to follow their own path and passion was truly an indescribable feeling. Seeing a past version of myself in this young woman who felt too shy to share her work with me.. I’ve been that person.

What a full circle kind of moment to be the encourager. I’m so grateful for that moment and I can only hope that the universe will bring me many more.

Art helps us connect and we certainly need that now.

This is certainly a day I will never forget. To be both the encourager and the encouraged.

Life is beautiful.

As always, thank you to all of the very special people in my life who keep me going.
I absolutely wouldn’t have been here without all of your love and voices in my mind.

🚨 EXCITING NEWS, FRIENDS!! 🚨

I’m so absolutely thrilled to announce that these 2 images were selected to be a part of UCCNJ’s upcoming Fall 2025 exhibit!!

I am incredibly excited to be chosen and to be a part of a public exhibit after many years of searching for the right opportunity .

This year has brought some unique challenges in life and while it’s been difficult to be as consistent as I had wanted, I’ve continued to keep my craft at my side and I cannot begin to express the deepest gratitude for the people in my life who continue to encourage and support me, even when I’m struggling. Please know every comment and share and private talks have been the only thing that kept me going some days.

I’m feeling a sense of renewed passion and once again will jump back on the saddle to keep educating myself and improving my art.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
