Today we celebrate someone incredibly special to both our family and our brands. Happy Birthday to Jasmil, Co-Founder of Chanel Productions and Chanel Normani, our Director of Video, and truly one of the greatest forces behind everything we continue to build.
So many people see the final films, the visuals, the content, and the growth, but very few get to witness the amount of sacrifice, faith, discipline, and long nights it has taken to bring these visions to life. Since day one, Jasmil has believed deeply in what we were building together and has continuously poured his heart, time, creativity, and unwavering support into both companies and every client we serve.
Beyond business, Jasmil is an incredible husband and an amazing father. No matter how demanding life becomes, he continues to lead our family with love, patience, protection, and presence. That alone deserves so much recognition.
Creatively, his talent and dedication to filmmaking speak for themselves. Jasmil earned his Bachelor’s degree from North Carolina Central University and later attended New York Film Academy, where he received a Directing certificate in filmmaking alongside a select group of creatives from around the world.
From documentaries and short films to weddings, events, and cinematic storytelling, his ability to capture emotion through film is truly special. His work and creative gifts have also allowed him opportunities to create in spaces alongside artists and public figures including Lil Wayne and Quavo, while still remaining humble, grounded, and committed to excellence in every space he enters.
The world often celebrates what is visible, but today we celebrate the man who helps hold everything together when no one is watching.
