In the quiet wetlands of Mangalajodi, love rises on fragile wings. 🖤🤍

Two Black-winged Stilts, perfectly in sync ,balancing, trusting, becoming one in a moment that speaks of partnership and harmony.

Togetherness isn’t just about standing side by side… it’s about lifting each other, finding balance through every ripple, and choosing the same horizon.

This Valentine’s Day, here’s to love that stands tall, stays steady, and flies together. ❤️

Golden hour magic ✨
In the soft glow of a late afternoon sun, a Rose-ringed Parakeet perches delicately on the millet, its vibrant green feathers glowing against the warm backlight. The moment felt almost poetic — nature’s colors blending perfectly with light and life. Captured with the Sony A1 II paired with the legendary 400mm f/2.8 GM lens, this frame is a reminder of how fleeting yet timeless wild beauty can be. 🌿☀️

In the quiet green undergrowth, I caught a fleeting moment with this Bronzeback Tree Snake.Captured with my Sony Alpha 1 Mark II, the snake’s curious tongue flick and sharp eyes reflect its constant awareness of the world around it. The soft bokeh in the background highlights its elegance, making this stealthy reptile stand out like a jewel of the forest.

📖 About the Species:
• The Bronzeback Tree Snake (Dendrelaphis tristis) is a slender, non-venomous snake commonly found across the Indian subcontinent.
• Known for its bronze sheen along the back, it blends seamlessly with tree branches and foliage.
• Highly agile and fast-moving, it spends most of its time in trees but also comes to the ground in search of prey.
• It primarily feeds on lizards, frogs, and small birds, playing a vital role in balancing the forest ecosystem.
• Despite its speed and alertness, the species is harmless to humans.

In the Sundarbans, it’s not always about tigers or deer. On my last trip, I found myself lost in the tiny, colorful world of fiddler crabs.

When the tide goes out, the mudflats light up with flashes of red, yellow, and rare sapphire-blue. The males wave their giant claws in dance-like displays, while the females quietly nurture the next generation.

Photographing them isn’t easy—they vanish into burrows at the slightest movement. Patience is the only way.

These shots were taken with the Sony Alpha 1 Mark II and Sirui Aurora 85mm f/1.4—capturing the delicate colors, bokeh, and fleeting beauty of this hidden world.

Silent Sentinel of the Monsoon Jungle

Amidst the dense, rain-drenched canopy of Bandhavgarh’s Tala zone, I captured this hauntingly beautiful moment of a Brown Fish Owl perched motionless after a heavy downpour. The photo was taken during the quiet of an early evening safari, when the forest transforms into a dreamlike world of mist and mystery.

With Sony A1 paired with the Sony 400mm f/2.8, I was able to push the limits in an extremely low-light situation. The owl’s soaked plumage shimmered against the soft backlight filtering through the dripping leaves, creating an ethereal glow around its silhouette. The atmosphere was thick with moisture, and the quiet hush of the jungle amplified the owl’s enigmatic presence. Every detail—from the glistening raindrops to the muted greens—feels like a frame from a forest fable.

This moment felt like the forest pausing to breathe—wet, wild, and watching.
