This mama has the biggest heart, and shares her love and joy so freely.

It was uncanny how similar her second birth was to her first. While each experience is certainly unique, it's interesting to find what may be the same.

I have sooo many gorgeous images to share from a bunch of sessions. I'm excited for you to see them, and also somehow social media feels impossible. A for effort! ✌

The Bare Body Project, Round 4
~The Greenhouse~

This project is medicine that you simply can't fathom until you experience it yourself. The sisterhood, the creativity, the vulnerability, the empowerment, the acceptance, and the fun.
It was almost 90 degrees in the greenhouse that day, and here was every participant standing before me, so happy to be there, so happy to be immersed in the experience and to be a part of a message that means so much. What an honor it is to photograph in this way, to witness in this way. What an honor to hold space and to create with such incredible people.
Each and every time I have held a project day, I am so deeply moved and awe struck that people...get it. They want to be a part of it. They want to experience the magic. They want to hold space for others, and to be held right back.
It's hard to put into words how much it means to have you all there. And, to know that the images from that day will reach those who could use them the most.
I see myself in each of you. You remind me how great it is to be human. To live in this body that is so, so good. No matter what.

Who doesn't love a dramatic black and white image?
I've never been a photographer that delivers every image in both color and black and white.
I feel that most photos are more impactful one way or the other, with the rare occasion that calls for both versions.

Not gonna lie, it took me (what felt like) an exceptionally long time to make this piece of fabric look that way. I had a thought in my head and didn't fully consider that other factors, like gravity for example, would interfere with the ex*****on of the vision. But that's what ends up being fun about trying new things together- we're literally just playing around. Testing things out. Seeing what works. What looks cool.

So stunning.

The end of pregnancy is pretty crazy isn't it? I've always described it as a bit of a mind f*ck. You don't know how long you have left, your body is probably really spent and stretched more than you thought possible, the waiting can drive you mad.
Am I ready?
What will my baby be like?
Do I have all of the supplies I need?
Have I set myself up for success postpartum?
Is my house clean enough?
Will my birth experience be what I've been dreaming of?
Is my partner prepared to support me how I need?
So many unknowns.
But you know what? It'll be ok. You and your baby are the perfect team. You are strong and capable and wise and have instincts for a reason.
Will it be hard? Probably.
Can you do hard things? Hell yeah.
