⋆ On wedding days, I arrive on location and immediately start my hunt for the best backdrops for your photos. I look for light, shade & texture and if there’s a skyline/landscape to be captured I’ll jot a mental note down to use it as my establishing shot. As Ansel Adams once said: “you don’t take a photograph, you make it.” And when you’ve been shooting for a while you begin to see in photographs before you even put the camera up to your eye. You see in light and shadow, texture and depth. I love the challenge of putting visual puzzle pieces together to form a wider & immersive visual story. Railroad Park made for the perfect canvas for this downtown Fall wedding complete with a reflecting pool & beautiful skyline 👌 And we all know I’m a sucker for a good reflection ✨
