Yesterday marked my first photoshoot back after taking over a year off to recover from a back injury ā€” and I couldnā€™t have asked for a better family to kick things off with! Hello my friends, family and amazing clients! This is a post no photographer ever wants to share but unfortunately I will not be photographing for a while.

I have had so many recent emails/messages asking me if I will be doing fall/holiday shoots so I figured It was time to post to let many of you know that I sprained my back a few months ago and have been dealing with a painful herniated disc/bulging discs. Iā€™ve been in a lot of pain for some time now and doctor says it is best I stay clear of holding heavy equiptment, bending, or putting any stress on my back.

I am so sad that I will not be able to capture my amazing clients this year but I am doing my best to stay positive and get back to being healthy to photograph you all again next year. Thank you so much for your understanding!
