Took some beautiful photos for the Clauses!!!....or is it Claus's? Claus? Whatever!!! 🎅🎅

We had so much fun last weekend at Santa's Workshop! Thank you to Santa and Mrs. Claus for spending the afternoon with us meeting all the good girls and boys, to Widows Productions for the beautiful photos, and to all of you for coming to celebrate with us! Emails have been sent to those who ordered photos, but if you have questions or did not receive yours then please reach out to Katie at [email protected] so we can get you taken care of. The ONLY thing changing is the logo and how I present the brand. Same work, better quality, same pricing, same me.
⬇️ Below is the NEW logo! ⬇️

The reason for the change is simple: as many of you know, I also make music under the name WIDOWS (my last name). Having too many things branded “Widows” was getting confusing in my opinion, and this helps clearly separate the lanes.

Hey,

I just wanna say THANK YOU for all of the unfiltered support from everybody during my return!!! I'm already getting shootings booked, it's incredible!

Prices aren't changing, if anything, I think I made them cheaper, but keep an eye out for the ads and potential mini sessions to come!!!

OPENS!!! 🎉📸

Here's a joyful early-Christmas present to some: I'M BACK! 🎄✨

Photoshoots, video shoots, whatever it may be; I am back in the driver seat, ready to take your pictures once again! 🚗💨📷

There will be some creative changes going forward; however, for the consumer, everything will stay the same for you. The only things changing are behind the scenes, logos, and potentially a name change. 🔧🎨

Anyways, have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING 🦃🍂, and I hope to see y'all again real soon 👀

What happens when the book closes?

Some might say it's the end, but for others, the memories live on. My journey began with a clear mind and a blank canvas, eager to create.

I'm Jakob Widows—some know me as Jake some simply as "Widows", others; a friend, brother, or acquaintance—but above all, everyone has always known and seen my creative. Telling stories has been my passion, first through music, and later with photography.

My small business thrived, and I had big dreams. Despite improving my skills, I slowly lost my passion. My light dimmed from a bright bulb to a flickering candle, I turned my passion into a business which I promised myself I would never do. It ended up burning me out.

With that, I’ve decided to close this chapter. Widows Productions as of today is closed. I have hung up my camera bag. I will no longer be promoting paid shoots, however; I’m still readily available for my previous clients, or even anyone who would like to recommend me as an artist (and obviously, any shoots currently booked I will follow through on).

As I step away from the business, I thank you all for the support over the past FIVE years! With every door that closes, another opens—here’s to whatever comes next; just know, that the next step is always better than the last.
