I’m never going to brag about delivering 100+ images from a session 😂

You know what I WILL brag about?

Creating 10 images you’re absolutely obsessed with.

The kind you can’t stop looking at. The ones you immediately know belong on your wall. The ones your kids will still have long after they’ve forgotten the password to whatever cloud they’re stored in. 😂

I’ve been doing this for over a decade, and one thing I know for sure: MORE doesn’t mean BETTER.

I’d rather slow down, pose you correctly, pay attention to the details, get the lighting right and create photographs that actually deserve to be printed.

One day, these photographs will mean more to you than they do today.

That’s something I’ve come to understand in a very different way lately.

We don’t believe photographs were meant to live forever on a phone.

Phones get replaced.
Hard drives fail.
Links expire.
And thousands of images disappear into camera rolls we rarely look through again.

But a photograph you can hold is different.

That’s why I’ve become even more passionate about the printed side of what we create.

Our luxury albums aren’t an “extra.”

They’re the part that lasts.

They’re beautifully handcrafted pieces filled with photographs of you, exactly as you are in this chapter of your life.

Someday you’ll open that album and see a version of yourself you may not fully appreciate right now.

And I think that matters.

Hey girl… I see you.

I see the woman who became “Mom” so fast that somewhere along the way, she stopped hearing her own name.

Your baby is loved.
Your family is taken care of.
Everyone else comes first.

But when was the last time someone took care of you?

I know that feeling because I lived it.

I was a young mom trying to figure out who I was after my body changed, my confidence disappeared, and the woman I used to be felt like a distant memory.

That’s why Phoenix Bo***ir exists.

Not because I wanted to photograph women…

Because I wanted women to remember themselves.

I wanted the exhausted mom who hasn’t bought herself new clothes in years…
The woman who apologizes every time she looks in the mirror…
The one who says, “Maybe after I lose another 20 pounds…”

…to finally see what everyone else already sees.

Strong.

Beautiful.

Enough.

Motherhood changes your body.

It also changes your heart.

But it should never convince you that you’ve become less worthy of being celebrated.

If you’ve been in front of my camera… you’ve heard me say it. 👑

I don’t say it because you finally looked a certain way.

I say it when I see YOU. 

The woman who’s been buried under soccer practice, work deadlines, grocery lists, doctor’s appointments, and taking care of everyone else.

The woman who forgot what it feels like to be looked at instead of needed.

The woman who hasn’t seen herself in years.

Sometimes it happens after we laugh.

Sometimes after a tear rolls down your cheek.

Sometimes after you stop asking, “What do I do with my hands?”

And for just a second…

You forget you’re standing in lingerie.

You forget you’re worried about your stomach.

You forget all the reasons you almost didn’t book.

You’re just…YOU.

That’s when I smile behind my camera and quietly say…

“There she is.”
