Doesn't care about time.
She tells you to sit a little longer
on the beach, and nevermind
the school supplies list
skittering around in the back
of your head. Here, she says,
put on your flip-flops and let's
go get ice cream. It's only
a short walk. Until the breeze
off the water prompts her
to reach for a cardigan, green
as her eyes, and suddenly
she is racing away, laughing,
waving: "See you next year!"

Stop watching from the sidelines, thinking "One day I'll have photos like that".
What's stopping you?
Time?
Money?
Energy?
Self esteem?
Not knowing where to start?
And when your baby - who just took his first steps yesterday - asks if you can give his friends a ride to their Senior Grad Night, how many pictures are hanging on your wall for you to stare at in recollection; remembering what his toothless smile looked like or reliving his first year in kindergarten?
Because if you don't do them now, then when?
