AN R2 PRODUCTION — YEAR ONE IS TEACHING US.
If there’s one thing we’ve learned this year, it’s that building something from nothing rarely goes according to plan.
The last few weeks proved that.
A serious health issue for R2, Megan returning to work full time, kids going back to school and the responsibilities that come with family and everyday life changed our timeline more than we anticipated.
So yes — we’re behind.
But we’re also still standing. Still creating. Still growing. And maybe more determined now than when we started.
September 11, 2026 is our finish line for every remaining Worlds package — including videos.
That chapter gets finished. Then we take everything this first year taught us and use it to build R2 better.
As for the shirts and hats — we didn’t hit the minimum order, so those who purchased will be refunded. And we’re okay with that. R2 was never created to be an apparel company. We were created to tell stories.
There have been wins this year. There have been mistakes. There have been some hard lessons too.
But look at what we’ve built.
The people we’ve met.
The sports we’ve stepped into.
The stories we’ve been trusted to tell.
The relationships that have become bigger than business.
That’s a win.
To Megan Burton, Matt Hardbarger, Nick and the MuddyCreek Baggers , Jeremiah Ellis and Misty Lou Ellis, the Vibe Bag Co Team, the entire Ashville Kernhole League - AKL Family, our families, and everyone who has supported this little production company while we figure out just how big it can become — thank you.
Year one isn’t going exactly how we drew it up.
It might be teaching us something better.
We’re not slowing down.
We’re learning how to do it better. 🖤
