It's a girl!

This is Luna, a jindo mix. She was rescued from Jeju, South Korea by Last Chance for Korean Dogs and International Street Dog Foundation. South Korea still has an issue with the illegal dog meat industry. Luna was fortunate enough to be rescued and escape the meat farms that are still being run.

The first week we got her was a rough start. She was scared of strangers and most sounds. She was also pretty nervous around Thad, which made caring for her very difficult.
After the first night we considered taking her back to the foster home because we really didn’t think it was going to work out. That’s just how scared she was.

Fast forward to 4 weeks later and this little girl is doing great. She is still cautious around strangers but she is doing amazing and is full of love. We are so glad we stuck with it and kept her.

Praying for Anguilla today.
The Island that I love so much was hit by the eye wall of Irma. News is starting to come out about the condition of the Island. Video of one of our favorite spots, Anguilla Great House, has been release. Most of the buildings have no roofs.
It will take a long time for the Island to recover and I am hoping I can go down and help.

No matter where I go, if there are animals, I will find them. 😀

Island dogs are the some of the sweetest dogs. Most of the pups I've encountered are very shy at first but once they know you aren't going to hurt them, they are so loving. I wish I could rescue them all. ❤

I didn't even have food for this little guy! He just enjoyed our company and being pet.
