Feeling accomplished today. I finished my third entry for PPANIevents's upcoming print competition next week. I do this for ME. It challenges my creativity, my technical skills, and are so much fun (and a bit nail biting)

When you first start entering, the critique is frustrating. It always feels personal; but it isn't. All of the judges' feedback allows the maker to improve their presentation and improve as an artist.

I think I'm going to surprise a few of my fellow PPANI - Northern Illinois photographers. GAME ON!

Tomorrow will be my final day to work on my remaining entries. Cheers to accomplishing several goals for the year🏆

AI is exciting. It’s opening doors to creativity. We never imagined.

The truth is photographers have been using AI powered tools for years, but to refine an image, not to change who you are. When social media introduced beauty filters that erase lines and reshaped faces something began to feel less authentic.
should be proud of every year you’ve lived every wrinkle you’ve earned and every battle wound you’ve overcome they are part of your story and help shape the person you are today
