The definition of a perfect slow morning.

I genuinely loved getting to capture this beauty. Sarah, the owner of Mid-Century NEST | Fairway Harmony 🎶, put so much thought and intention into every part of this space, and you can feel it the second you walk in.

The midcentury-inspired design carries throughout the entire property, and it was honestly so much fun getting to slow down and capture all of the little details that make it feel so unique. You can tell this wasn’t just a space that was decorated to look good—it was intentionally designed to create an experience.

Definitely one of my favorite properties I’ve experienced and photographed so far. I have so much appreciation for hosts who put this level of thought into what they create.

Send this to someone who needs to experience a slow morning here for themselves!

This might be exactly what you need with your favorite person for a few nights or a long weekend!

Slow mornings sipping coffee on the dock watching the sunrise, making breakfast with some one-of-a-kind local jam (seriously the best jam I’ve ever had on toast before), and just getting to slow down and enjoy being there.

Then spending the afternoon resetting in the sauna and hot tub for some much-needed rest and recovery before ending the night by the fire pit. That part seriously never gets old.

I could definitely get used to weekends looking a little more like this.

The ‘ber months are officially here, and as far as I’m concerned, that means fall has arrived. 🍂

Once September hits, I’m fully in fall mode and there’s no convincing me otherwise!

But I know everyone has an opinion on this one… when does fall actually start for you? September 1st, the official first day of fall, or are you holding onto summer as long as possible?

Either way, Mid-Century NEST | Fairway Harmony 🎶 is one of those places that just feels cozy no matter what season you visit. Fall, winter, spring, summer!

Mississippi might not be the first place you think of for a beach getaway… but it will be after you see this!☀️🌴

Switching things up and spending a few days along the Gulf Coast in Gulfport, Mississippi, and I genuinely enjoyed every second of this stay.

Just minutes from the Gulf and the beach, The Mississippi Peach was the perfect place to slow down, soak up the sunshine, relax by the pool, and simply enjoy being on the coast.

The entire property is so thoughtfully and uniquely designed, with so many little details that make it feel special. And one of my favorite parts? Having a private pool right in the backyard, something you don’t find at many stays in the area.

I had such a wonderful time here, and if Mississippi hasn’t been on your travel list before, consider this your reason to add it.

Mid-century design, cozy vibes, and a whole lot of character.

📲 Send this to someone you’d want to stay here with!

This property in Hendersonville, North Carolina has such a unique feel to it. From the original architecture to the thoughtful additions over the years, there’s so much history and personality built into every part of the home.

One of my favorite spaces has to be the living room and music room, with the huge open windows bringing in so much natural light and making the entire space feel connected to the outdoors. Throw on your favorite movie, put some music on, and just enjoy how cozy and homey the space feels.

Then step out onto the back deck or hang out by the fire pit and you get an incredible view overlooking the golf course, watching golfers make their way through while you relax outside.

It’s cozy, vibey, full of character, and just one of those places that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile.

Beautiful design, plenty of history, and such a great place to relax, reconnect, and reset.

There’s just something about summer in Northern Michigan. 🌲🚤☀️

Especially when your stay has the lake waiting right outside the back door.

Slow mornings with coffee down on your own private dock, afternoons exploring everything Northern Michigan has to offer, and evenings back at the A-frame relaxing in the hot tub or warming up in the sauna.

But what really makes this property special is the intentionality behind it. Every detail, inside and out, feels like it was designed around the experience of being here, not just giving you a beautiful place to stay, but a place that makes you want to slow down and actually enjoy it.

Lakefront living, an elevated cabin experience, and some of the best little towns and places to explore in Northern Michigan all around you.

This is what a Northern Michigan getaway should feel like. 🌊🌲

Happy World Photography Day!

Almost 11 years ago, while reading my Bible, I felt the Lord prompt me to buy a camera. At the time, I had no idea where that small decision would eventually take me.

Photography has taken me around the world, allowed me to live in places I never imagined, and given me the opportunity to experience some of the most beautiful parts of God’s creation. Being surrounded by mountains, landscapes, and places that leave you completely in awe of what the Lord created is something I’ll never take for granted.

What started as a hobby and a love for photographing the outdoors 11 years ago has now become my full-time career. I get to wake up every day, create for a living, travel, meet incredible people, and use photography to help others, something I never could have imagined when I first picked up a camera.

I owe so much of this journey to the Lord. Thank You for placing this passion on my heart all those years ago, for opening doors I never knew existed, and for allowing me to experience so much of Your creation along the way.

And the best part is, I still feel like I’m just getting started.

Here are some of my favorite photos I’ve taken throughout the years and some of the places this journey has taken me.

Happy World Photography Day. Here’s to wherever the camera takes me next. 🙏🏼

Hocking Hills has been on my list of places to visit for a long time, and I finally got the chance to make the trip out to Ohio and experience it for myself.

I stayed at Twelve34 House : Eco-Luxe Vacation Cabin, which made for the perfect home base for the trip. Tucked back in the woods, quiet, cozy, and close enough to Hocking Hills State Park that you can spend the day exploring waterfalls, trails, caves, and everything this area has to offer, then come back and relax in the woods.

Trips like this are exactly why I love what I do. Getting to experience a new place, spend time outside, and capture a property that fits so naturally into the destination.

Thanks Toyota USA for always beinToyota USAo vehicle when I go on my out of state adventures 🫡

If Hocking Hills has been on your list too, this is definitely a trip worth making. 🌲

Have you ever wondered what goes into creating those photos that make a STR property feel alive and tell a story?

This is a little behind-the-scenes look at what goes through my mind before I ever press the shutter. Every image starts with an idea, but bringing that vision to life takes planning, patience, and waiting for the right light and the perfect moment.

Some of my favorite images are the ones that require the most preparation. When everything comes together exactly how I imagined it, it’s one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

I’m really excited to see how this shot turns out, so keep an eye out over the next few days because I’ll be sharing the final image soon.

If you’d ever be interested in learning more about my process for photographing short-term rental properties, comment “Workshop” below and I’ll send you a DM!
