Meet me in the mountains; actually, meet me at .

Tucked deep in the San Juan Mountains, this was the kind of place that makes you forget the noise of everyday life. Unplugged. Unrushed. Fully present with good company and even better views.

Waking up each morning to towering peaks, crisp mountain air, and sitting around a fire while taking in the stunning views that never end.

If you’re wanting a trip to finally make it out of the group chat… THIS is the one!

Life is too short to keep saying “one day.”

I’ve never once heard someone come home from a trip and say they wish they hadn’t gone.
But I’ve heard plenty of people say they wish they would’ve.

The places you want to see, the memories you want to make, the fresh air, the quiet mornings, the views that don’t even look real; they’re waiting on the other side of a decision you keep putting off.

This is your sign.
Book the trip. ✈️

This morning I was reading 1 Corinthians 7:32–35, and it stopped me in my tracks.

Paul talks about how the unmarried person can be fully concerned with the Lord’s work; undivided, undistracted, fully available. And the reference I read put it this way: Adam was consumed with his calling until God gave him Eve.

That hit me.

Singleness isn’t a gap in the story.
It’s not a delay.
It’s not a season to endure until “real life” starts.

It’s a gift of focus.

A gift of freedom.
A gift of clarity.
A gift of time that you may never have again in the same way.

It’s okay to desire a spouse. That desire is natural and good.
But it becomes a problem when the desire becomes a distraction from what God is trying to do in you right now.

This is the season to be so consumed with your calling. So invested in your growth,
so committed to serving the Lord,
so bold in chasing the dreams He placed in your hearts; that if He brings someone into your life, they step into motion, not into potential.

Maximize this time.
Build. Grow. Serve. Learn. Create. Pray. Go.

Hygge. A word I didn’t fully understand until I felt it here.

Mornings with a cup of coffee by the fire inside this cozy A-frame; tucked deep in the woods at 9,000 feet, felt like the kind of reset I didn’t realize I needed. No noise. No rush. Just warmth, comfort, and the quiet reminder to slow down and be present.

This isn’t just a place to stay, it’s a feeling that stayed with me. The kind that helps you breathe a little deeper, think a little clearer, and reconnect with what actually matters.

You deserve a getaway that feels like this.
Send this to someone you’d want to share it with, and start planning it!

Have you ever wanted to take a trip where you can truly reset and relax with no distractions? is the place to do it.

I’m not kidding, each morning felt like something out of a movie: brewing a cup of coffee while overlooking the San Juan Mountains, with the sound of the river running below.

And if you’re all about adventure, love skiing or snowboarding, you’re just a few miles away from a local heli guide who will drop you and your guide on top of the mountain for fresh powder tracks far from the resorts.

The next time I’m back here… you already know I’m doing some heli boarding.

Plan your trip now. If you want the perfect place to relax after an adventurous day, this is it.

This is what happens when you pull over, not rushing the journey and just being present in every moment.

One stop by a quiet lake.
Another stop when the mountains started glowing; when the road felt too good not to photograph. Stopping to take it all in, embracing the moment and stillness.

No destination. No rush. Just chasing light and letting the road lead.

These are the days I live for.

Are you the type to keep driving… or the type to pull over?

is one of those places that instantly makes you slow down.

Waking up, making a cup of coffee, and being greeted by unreal views from every room, mountains in every direction, the Animas River below, and complete stillness all around. Walking outside and feeling truly secluded in the San Juan Mountains is the kind of reset I think everyone wants and needs.

Sitting at 9,550’, this cabin serves as your own private mountain retreat; heated floors, endless 360° views, and total comfort inside, with the Alpine Loop and unlimited adventure right out the front door. In winter, it even serves as a base camp for Silverton guided backcountry heli skiing and snowboarding, which honestly doesn’t get much better than that!

Just you, your coffee, and the San Juans; this is the perfect place to step back, breathe, and truly relax or take on your next adventure! 🏂🚁

Some places don’t just give you a view, they give you a feeling you can’t shake. The Million Dollar Highway is one of those. Guardrails disappear, mountains rise straight out of the windshield, and you realize how small you are in the middle of something so wild and untamed. I’ve imagined photographing this road for years, but nothing prepared me for what it felt like to actually stand there with the cold air, the echo of the valley, and a scene that didn’t even look real.

It’s the kind of place that reminds you life is meant to be experienced, not just seen on a screen. High risk, high reward; not just the drive, but the decision to go in the first place. I hope this stirs something in you to plan the trip, take the detour, and chase the view you’ve been putting off.

Swipe to see the full-size print that’s going on my wall! I’m only printing 5 of these to keep it true to the moment. If this scene feels like it belongs in your space, message me to get yours before they are gone and put this road on your 2026 vision board while you’re at it!

S/O .joerger for being the best tour guide on our road trip and making all the stops along the way!

All I need are the mountains, a crackling fire, sounds of nature, some good music for the soul and I’m a happy man. It doesn’t hurt when your weekend getaway at has a view like this!

📲 Save this and send to a friend that needs to stay here in 2026!

Woke up at 4 a.m. to chase a sunrise we’d never seen before. 15° air, breath like smoke, feet pounding an empty mountain road with the peaks glowing in front of us. Couldn’t feel my hands, barely felt my face, but I’ve never felt more alive. Running toward the kind of mornings I used to only imagine. Thank you, Jesus for moments like this.

I don’t know if it gets better than this.

Tennessee mountains, quiet mornings, fresh air, and that “I needed this” feeling the second you arrive. These are the kind of weekends that reset your soul.
