Mom Brain Isn’t Forgetful… It’s Overloaded.

People love to joke about “mom brain,” like we’re just scattered or forgetful.
But the truth is, it’s not that we don’t remember things… it’s that we’re remembering everything.

We’re keeping track of diapers, meals, nap schedules, appointments, laundry loads, preschool crafts, teething symptoms, grocery lists, outfit changes, bills, birthday gifts, cleaning routines, emotions (ours and theirs)… and still trying to show up as patient, present moms.

Mom brain isn’t a flaw.
It’s the result of carrying an entire family’s mental load on our shoulders.

We’re not forgetful.
We’re exhausted.
We’re multitasking.
We’re holding it all together.

So if something slips through the cracks?
That’s not mom brain. That’s a mom doing ten jobs at once.
