Find someone who will make you sit right on the golf course and make a memory out of it.

Because it’s more than just a portrait!

My couples and I celebrate, laugh, and have fun on their wedding day. And in return, they receive stunning portraits for their walls, a gallery full of candids capturing the people they love, and even more memories added to one of the biggest days of their lives.

The photos are beautiful, but the moments behind them are what make them meaningful. 🤍

I didn’t become a wedding photographer because I love weddings.

I know… it sounds crazy!

The thing is, I became one because I love people.

A beautiful photo is never the goal.

The goal is creating a moment my couples will remember every time they see it hanging on their wall.

Sometimes that means slowing down after the ceremony.

Sometimes it means laughing while sitting on a golf course so we can keep the dress clean.

And sometimes it means trusting the process for a photo that feels like it was always meant to exist.

The photograph is the result.

The experience is what they’ll remember forever.

I didn’t become a wedding photographer because I love weddings.

I know… it sounds crazy!

The thing is, I became one because I love people.

This photo was intentional. I chose a simple backdrop so there was nothing competing with what mattered most: them, their connection and the emotions they were feeling in that moment.

And let me tell you… the mountains and the venue behind us were absolutely stunning!!

But it was never about the landscape or having the “perfect” location.

It was about giving them space to stop for a second and think, “holy moly… we are freaking married!!”

I create those moments for my couples. They may not be able to remember where they stood or the tree line but they’ll remember the moment they had together after their wedding ceremony to soak it all in, ALL while still creating the beautiful, wall-worthy images they’ll treasure for years (that’s my job!).

Because I don’t photograph landscapes.

I photograph people.

The best thing I do for my photography has nothing to do with photography.

Before I spend hours editing, I make it a point to get out of the house. A walk to the gym, feeding my cats, seeing familiar faces, and simply being around people.

Those quiet little moments refill my cup and spark the creativity I bring back to every wedding gallery.

Turns out, loving people is just as important as loving photography 🐝

Spent this past week editing Sara and Brian’s Friday wedding and Taylor and Silas’s Saturday wedding. It was a lot of travel, but it was so worth and both weddings were so stunning to photograph! The reset was definitely much needed, and the sneak peaks are looking insane!
