Even at a young age, I saw potential in the most ‘unlikely characters….. the beauty in the broken, the novel in the old, and the light in the dark. I would often hear or see things that - at first glance- most people would overlook; yet I instantly found them magnificent or amazing! When I started taking photographs, people were ast
ounded by things that they had “never noticed before”. This is what I hope to achieve with all of my photographs. Stop and look…
In the blink of an eye, a moment can be missed. My hope is to be the one to capture the unseen, the unspoken, and the unexpected. Whether it be a photograph of a lifeless old oak or the look on the face of a father as his daughter walks down the aisle. I hope that my photographs make people take a second out of their day to stop and find the beauty in places where no one else looks. I want to make your heart melt, your eyes water, and open up your mind to see things in a new light. On a side note…
Some things I LOVE: Jesus, live music, sweet potato fries, cheap sunglasses, vintage hats, high heels, big old school headphones, spanx, a retro rock-n-roll tee, hammocks, kittens, a good pair of skinny jeans, experiencing new things, sleep, thrift stores, candles, a well-tailored dress, and traveling around the world!
