i've had the privilege of documenting this beautiful family since big sister was still growing in her mama's tummy, and watching their family grow over the years has brought me so much joy, truly.

this family is truly one of my absolute favorites, and every time I see them, I'm reminded why I love what I do. seeing these sweet kiddos and capturing these milestones is such a gift. the big kiddos totally stole the show!

now, baby Kesler definitely let us know who was in charge during his session 😂. he had his own plans for most of the day, but once he finally decided it was time for a nap, we were able to get all the beautiful shots Mom and Dad were hoping for!

thank you for trusting me to preserve these precious memories year after year. It means more than you'll ever know. ❤️

last month I had the honor of photographing this beautiful family as they prepared to welcome their sweet baby boy into the world. 💙

from the beginning, big brother completely stole the show! we laughed and laughed the entire session. his excitement and personality made every moment hysterical. I had the best time with them!
..and mama - absolutely glowing. ✨ not only is she beautiful on the outside but her kindness and warmth shine even brighter.

little man arrived a couple days ago! I am so excited to meet him for his newborn session next week.

after having to reschedule a few times, we were gifted the most beautiful morning for Lucy's senior session - it could not have been more perfect.

lucy is absolutely stunning, but what shines even brighter is her sweet personality and kind demeanor. she has such a genuine spirit and spending the morning with her was an absolute joy.

I wish you nothing but happiness, success, and endless opportunities as you begin this next adventure at WVU. may your life be filled with amazing experiences, meaningful friendships, and dreams that exceed even your own expectations.

one of my favorite parts of this job is getting to watch families grow, and the Harris family is one of those families I always look forward to seeing each year.

whether it's spring photos or our annual Christmas session, our time together is always filled with laughter, jokes, and plenty of silliness. watching the girls grow up right in front of my camera has been awesome!

thank you, Harris family, for trusting me to capture your memories year after year. it means more than you know. i’m so grateful for the friendship we've built and for the chance to document these moments that pass by far too quickly. ❤️

I've known this handsome young man for many years. while I don't get to see him often, every time I do, he is just as kind and genuine as ever. those qualities will take him far as he continues both his academic and athletic career at the college level, where he'll be pursuing his education and playing football.

his mama holds a special place in my heart, too. we go all the way back to our high school days, and life has a funny way of reminding us just how quickly the years pass. It is always such an honor to reconnect with people from my past and be trusted to document these milestone moments in their lives.

kyan, I am praying that God guides your steps, strengthens your faith, protects you on and off the field, and opens doors beyond anything you can imagine. congratulations on all you've accomplished and all that's still to come.

and to mom... I’m holding you close in my heart. there is something bittersweet about watching that first baby spread their wings and chase their dreams. may you find peace, joy, and pride in knowing you helped shape the amazing young man he has become.

some seniors leave an impression long after the session is over, and Trinity is one of those special people.

this beautiful young lady graduated last week and is headed to Longwood University, where she'll continue cheering and chasing her dreams. while her beauty is undeniable, what stood out most to me was the way she carries herself - with grace, confidence, kindness, and a wisdom that feels far beyond her years.

I had the best time spending the evening with Trinity and her wonderful mama. the love, support, and pride between them is something truly special.

Trinity, I have no doubt that God has amazing plans for your life. your future is bright, your potential is limitless, and the world is waiting for the gifts and talents only you can bring. keep shining your light, stay true to who you are, and never stop believing in the dreams placed on your heart.

a couple of weeks ago, my guy, Lane graduated and I can't help but reflect on what a privilege it has been to watch him grow into the young man he is today.

I've literally watched this kid grow up. I've seen him walk through challenges, find his faith, and continue to become someone who serves others with a humble heart. whether it's mowing my lawn, helping fix my bumper, or simply stopping by to sit on my porch and brighten my day, Lane is the kind of person who shows up for people without being asked.

this session was easily one of my favorites of the season. between the incredible car we photographed and Lane's genuine personality shining through every image, it was one of those sessions I'll never forget.

more than anything, I'm proud of the man he's becoming. a young man who loves the Lord, works hard, cares deeply for others, and carries himself with integrity. the world needs more young men like him.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." — Jeremiah 29:11

Lane, I will always be cheering you on. thank you for your kindness and your servant's heart. I can't wait to see where the Lord leads you next. LOVE YOU KID!

as this beautiful young lady gets ready to graduate and head off to VCU this fall, I couldn't be more excited for all that's ahead of her. we spent the evening laughing, joking, and enjoying the most beautiful sun-soaked light. alexa was an absolute joy to photograph - sweet, kind, genuine, and so much fun to be around.

one of the things I loved most about this session was how effortlessly she pulled off every look. the truth is, being in front of a camera isn't easy for most people, but she made it look natural.
..and before I go, thank you all so much for the response to my last post. I have absolutely loved looking through all of the photos from years past and revisiting so many wonderful memories. you guys truly made my evening. ❤️✨

FIFTEEN years of newborn snuggles, growing families, graduating seniors, milestones, memories, and friendships that have become so much more than client relationships. what an incredible blessing this has been 🥹❤️

running a small business is not easy but running a small business in today’s world is really not easy. through it all, God has remained faithful.

every session booked, every referral shared, every kind comment, every family that returned year after year has been a reminder of His provision and grace. I am deeply grateful for each person who has trusted me to preserve their most precious memories. your support has allowed me to do what I love for 15 years, and that is something I never take for granted.

I know all those years ago… God placed this calling on my heart and I am SO thankful every day that He continues to open doors and surround me with incredible clients and friends.

from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for supporting me. THANK YOU for supporting my dream. THANK YOU for being part of this journey.

some sessions leave you smiling long after they’re over, and sweet Yusra’s was definitely one of them.

she was an absolute dream in all of her setups, but my favorite moments might have been when she decided sleep was overrated and stayed wide awake just long enough to give us the funniest little expressions. and that smile? pure magic.

big sister was incredible too. So proud, so gentle, and so brave ❤️

there is something so special about being asked to photograph a family again as they grow. seeing familiar faces, meeting a new little blessing, and capturing these moments is never something I take for granted.

today feels especially meaningful, and I find myself reflecting on how grateful I am that God continues to place these beautiful families in my path. what a gift it is to do work that fills my heart, preserves precious memories, and reminds me daily of His goodness.

thank you to this wonderful family for trusting me once again. It was such a joy to see you all ❤️
