the 𝓃𝑒𝓌 fipps fam 🤍 introducing some underground changes that have been in place for a while but need an official shout out! As many of you may know, Fipps Media started in 2016 after a couple of lovebirds became obsessed with story-telling. A decade of spending our weekends celebrating one of the happiest days of our clients lives and just building our business together! It’s been nothing short of an amazing time doing so, and in these years, we’ve built up a life and business bigger than we could’ve ever imagined 🤍🥹
While that has been heaven-sent, Dylan has always had a passion for music and concert photography! He loves working weddings and spending 8hrs getting bullied by me 😉, but his dream was to tour and travel with some of his favorite artists. Well, all of that came true last year. And took off like wildfire!!! In the five years he’s been capturing shows and tending to his craft, we’ve discussed and prepped on what Fipps Media would look like with this shift. We spent time crafting and curating a crew that would not only represent something we’ve spent our lives growing and loving, but that are just as dedicated to story-telling as we are.
We are REALLY really excited to finally introduce the new crew at Fipps Media 🥳 starting with myself, I’ve always handled communication, socials, photography (and lawd everything else) but Dylan has trained me up to officially execute videography as well! I’m excited to announce that I flex between the two, and love them both soooo much!
Next, Derek! Our main videographer! Him and Dylan go way back to broadcasting class where they both fell in love with cameras! He’s been working with us for a year and a half to perfect his craft. A dedicated husband and father, the total calm to my chaos, and just a teddy bear with a camera! He manages videography for our duo jobs!
Next, Kaila! My queen! It is really hard for me to trust people with my business, my baby, as I hold its representation to such a high standard. Kaila is the epitome of professional, prepared and just an absolute joy to be around. The best wife and mama, teacher twin and my dear second shooter! I appreciate and trust her to the ends of the Earth! Welcome her 🤍
Finally, Dyl. He has transitioned to mostly editing efforts. If he’s in town and not traveling the world living his dream, he will definitely hop in to keep those wedding muscles moving! This position is perfect as our films will keep the same exact quality and ex*****on that they have for years. We will miss him, but with a crew like this, we won’t be lackin 😉
Transparency and honesty is important to me as a person and for my business! I want everyone to know the dynamics of our business, the faces of those dedicated to making your day perfect, and just have a peace of mind that this is a curated collective. The FM quality that you know in love won’t just be the same, but built up to be better with this team. We’re still Fipps Media, just with a bigger family 🥰
