The case isn’t as black-and-white as it seems.
Yes the children are the number one victim and she has to pay for that. Sit back and listen to the doctors and the psychiatrists talk about how they handled her whenever she came asking for help. Watch how many medications she was prescribed. That is what so many women go through whenever they are trying to get help. Your hormones after birth are unhinged.
Especially for military wives. The appointments are even shorter and you are literally a number.
A loving mother doesn’t willingly m*rder her children. It reminds me of the Andrea Yates case back when I was small. And I never could understand what was going on. And then after I gave birth it was one of the first thoughts that popped in my head. I can see how someone can not not be mentally strong enough to not give into negative feelings. (No I was never bad enough to want to hurt my kids, but the negative thoughts towards them is real for some people)
So for the men that I keep seeing posting about this case being so black-and-white, I hope you will actually read and watch how the doctors treat her and remember that women are not themselves after they give birth. And women need additional help and the people who are advocating for her or not wanting her to go free, but they are wanting a change to the system.
