It's A D O P T I O N day!

April and I have been friends since kindergarten and I've seen her through almost every phase in her life. She's kind, strong, courageous, and one of the MOST trusting individuals I've ever had the pleasure to know.

This beautiful mama you see was once a single mother, working multiple jobs to make ends meet, doing what she could to survive in a world destined for her to fail. She persevered, stayed strong, and gave the best life she possibly could to a then young baby boy, Bryton.

April worked at the same hospital as Austin, which is where they met in September of 2017. April was a single mom, and Austin was a single guy with no children.

He had no obligation to stay. He didn't have to step up to fill the void in Bryton's life.

But he did and so did his family, without hesitation.

They went on to marry in November of 2018 and gave birth to Taylor Mae a month later.

They have established themselves in their careers. Purchased 2 homes together. Have traveled together. They've created a BEAUTIFUL life. Together.

Although Austin stepped up several years ago and assumed the role of dad - today is the day where it's official.

Congratulations and happy ADOPTION day to the McMullen family!
