I'm Vicki, and I love making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. I design each photography session as a luxury experience you'll actually feel comfortable doing. We start with a styling appointment where we discuss the what and why of your session. We'll shop your closet to pick outfits and create a shopping list if needed. On the day of your session you'll feel like a queen with professi

onal hair and makeup. I'll guide you through the whole session directing you on how to pose. My clients and I usually end up laughing through the session. You should probably plan on a date night since you are going to look and feel gorgeous! Once your images have been personally retouched and edited, we'll meet again for your reveal appointment. You'll choose your favorite images and how you'll want to display them. I specialize in presentation boxes that you fill with your favorite prints. The digital image of each purchased print is included. For headshot/branding clients I have digital only packages. It's an experience that will uplift and empower you! Most of my clients have trouble feeling comfortable in front of the camera. That's what I'm here for! You can find me here:

BTS (behind the scenes) of a windy day. Sometimes we don't have the luxury of rescheduling a session and have to work with what we've got. On a windy day we try to wait for calm moments and I rely on a very fast shutter speed to stop movement. Then, in editing, I take care of any crazy fly aways. The results are beautiful images - wind free!

Hey! I'm Vicki. I love traveling and a good, sugary coffee. Right now the cafe con leche is my jam. I bought my first "big camera" once I had my two girls. We were living near Washington DC and I wanted to be able to take good pictures of the girls and the DC architecture. My love for photography was born then and took off. I started VSD Photography because I love capturing emotion and want to help people and families preserve those emotions and memories with great portraits.
