I never wanted to shoot weddings BUT…
After being a second shooter for this one, I might be hooked….
A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of second shooting a wedding with . Having never shot a wedding before, to say I was nervous would be an understatement. I have always been petrified of shooting weddings because of the amount of pressure you’re under as a photographer. However, I could not have asked for a better experience.
Riss made the entire experience effortless with her natural ability to pose everyone comfortably and candidly. Thank you for taking me under your wing and showing me the ropes. A few hours of shooting with you made me twice the photographer I was before I showed up that day. And thank you for the opportunity!
Johnstown can get a bad rap, but downtown has so much to offer with its vintage charm, stellar views, and amazing little businesses (such as where we took some amazing shots). There’s incredible beauty in Johnstown, you just have to know where to look.
Last but not least, I can’t forget about the bride and groom. Emily and Jesse: you and your entire bridal party were an absolute blast to hang with all day. Ya’ll are some of the nicest folks I’ve ever met and you’re twice as fun to be around! I wish you both a lifetime of happiness together! Thank you so much for allowing me to spend the day with you. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day. I hope you love them as much as I loved taking them!
P.S. thanks for this “Pink Pony Club” forever being on repeat in my head….
