Slumbering Sunflowers… a few years ago I saw a field of golden sunflowers from a tour bus window in France and I wanted so badly to stop and capture.

In the early morning of our departure from the Loire Valley we came across this field and of course I stopped and frolicked amongst them.

Their sunny faces were bowed towards the arising sun on what seemed like sleeping sunflowers. If only I had the time to set up a sunrise timelapse. Bet that would be spectacular.

One of the most poignant moments was walking into the American Cemetery at Normandy to hear full “Taps” and witness the lowering of our American flag. Every day, rain or shine, French volunteers still honor the hero’s who gave their lives to liberate France in WWII. That’s honor!

Living her epic POLKA Dot era. This amazing grad stepped into my life with pizazz, style and sophisticated grace.

She’s the quiet book nerd who knows how to command the room. She’s intentional and loves her tribe deeply. With Delaney by your side… you are unstoppable!

Congratulations to her as the valedictorian of the Fresno Christian, Class of 2026. Well deserved, she worked hard for that one. I am so proud of her as she moves on to Cal Poly.

Delaney, thank you for trusting me to walk beside you these last few years and the countless memories that will last a lifetime. Excited for the journey ahead! Here for all of it!❤️
