Half Orange comes from the spanish phrase, "Mi Media Naranja" which means '"my better half", it can also be translated as "my significant other". Half Orange Photography started when fundraising for a missions trip eventually I loved it and boom here I am. By film I do not mean video I mean like the oldie LOL 35MM. Story time!!
Before I was Half Orange I was T92 photography 🥴 (BiggO cringe) 😅

With the help of a friend 😂 I saw that it really didn’t represent the clientele I wanted to reach out to. When I googled T92 war gun tanks popped out 😫. I didn’t want war I wanted love stories!!!

I learned so much about marketing and branding with my friend!💕 It took me a while to come up with Half Orange and branding because I was still discovering my style and I wanted to represent. But God sent help 💕💕

An urban elopement... Say what?! ☺️

It was super chill... from getting married in Madera court house. Not me BTW and . Then drove to downtown fresno, took some portraits, then a coffee break. These lovebird models needed to relax a little and then finish up in the sky! 🙌🏼 💙

I love how down to earth and super go with the flow they were. Still on my top faves.

What if your venue doesn't have the scenery background you want for portraits?! There's various options...

You can schedule another day to take pictures. But most of the time that means extra money. If booking another day is in your budget, then go for it.

But what if you don't want to spend extra money?! That's when the timeline comes out handy! Plan the day wisely. Ask your photographer for nearby locations to take portraits or ask for your photographer's input on the areas you have in mind.

*** First looks will give you the option to finish your portraits ahead of time at a different location. Yeah... Many brides AND grooms worry about breaking tradition or worry they won't feel the same emotion down the aisle after seeing each other. Well let me tell you! I have seen brides AND grooms cry their eyes out after their first look at their ceremony.

I love going to the beach and just sit still and enjoy the sounds of the waves 🌊🌊🌊.

The harmony of the waves just makes me realize how bless I am to be part of this beautiful earth. Yeah... A lot of craziness is happening right now and it's easy to put our focus in situations that makes us feel like we're losing in life.

Take the time to sit still and see the beauty around you. Family, health, a home, food, friends, etc... The little things aren't so little when you see the beauty in them. 💛
